I have not re-presented how much I have abandoned the aspects of afflictions and established them as stream-enterer, etc., because it has already been explained before. Explanation of the words briefly indicating "Pratyekabuddha" etc.: It has been said "Pratyekabuddha" etc., because it is the cause of oneself alone, and realizing one's own enlightenment is oneself, therefore it is a Pratyekabuddha. Śrāvakas will not become a fault because they rely on the teachings of others. It will also not become a fault for the perfectly complete Buddha, because he is particularly superior because he specifically accomplishes all-knowingness for the benefit of all sentient beings. This refers to what the Pratyekabuddha of the ninth ground said. The so-called Śrāvakas have transcended, which means that they have abandoned the conceptual thought of the meaning of what is to be taken, and therefore have transcended it. What the Buddha has not attained means that because he has not abandoned the conceptual thought of the meaning of what can be taken, he has not been realized by the unsurpassed, perfectly complete Buddha. Similarly, in order to distinguish the words "The Buddha is a place of giving, one should not abide," it has been said "The Buddha is" etc. The so-called ground of ordinary beings is the ground of faith-practice. In "immeasurable" etc., because it cannot be measured by direct perception etc., it is immeasurable. Because oneness etc. are free from number, they are innumerable. This shows that in some sutras, it is said that for the benefit of sentient beings who are determined to reach the ultimate of perfect goodness in taming etc., it is intentional. Or, this is said from the perspective of doing beneficial activities in this world system, otherwise, because the clouds of emanations perform the benefit of sentient beings in all world systems, it is not contradictory to the words innumerable etc. Or, the particularly superior characteristics of the vehicle named Mahāyāna, such as the profound characteristics of the vehicle, are completely different. Therefore, because only inconsistencies are shown here, it should not be said that it contradicts other vehicles. Similarly, such a

For other meanings of sentient beings, this should also be taken as the answer. The so-called "acting for the benefit of sentient beings" means that for some sentient beings, the Dharma of increasing goodness is perfected through generosity and so on. The so-called "entering into nirvana" means that for some, such as the nirvana of the Shravakas, they are placed in the definitive good Dharma. The so-called "causing to enter the state of Shravaka, Pratyekabuddha, and Samyak-sambuddha" means that by realizing the virtues that are in accordance with the aspect of definiteness, one will undoubtedly obtain the cause of the Dharma of increasing goodness and definitive goodness. Therefore, it is definitive. It means abiding in the definitive lineage. The so-called Buddha-ground refers to Prabhakari, which means that the tenth ground is the realm of the Buddha. The so-called activity of the Buddha refers to the turning of the wheel of Dharma. The so-called nirvana of the Buddha refers to the nirvana that is not shared with the Shravakas and others. This nirvana is considered to be a manifestation body. Why is this? It is based on scriptural and logical proofs. Thus, whatever has an uninterrupted cause of abiding is permanent and not of the nature of cessation. For example, like smoke and so on from fire and wood, which have the complete ability to cause abiding. The Bhagavan Buddha also has a complete cause of abiding. The pervasion of the cessation of abiding is contradictory to the completeness of the cause of abiding, therefore the pervasion established here is a contradictory object. The non-concordant Dharma is like the cessation of smoke and so on. The combination of not producing a result from the absence of a complete cause is contradictory. How is this reason established? It is stated: The cause of abiding is incomplete, is it because the ability to accomplish the meaning of sentient beings is completely exhausted? Or is it because of being separated from great compassion? Or is it because of falling away from the mastery of abiding in the life-sustaining activity? Or is it because the ripening of the karma of the life force has come to an end? Or is it because there are no more disciples to be tamed by the Buddha?
