Fire and water, transformed into three forms by wind. In this way, in order, the first three meditations, because of destruction, they themselves exist for a long time, so they are self-conceited. Others have other explanations. From the determination of the gods of clear light, some beings die and transfer, and are born alone in the empty Brahma palace. Alas, how wonderful it would be if other beings were also born here! Following this wish, other beings whose merits and so on have been exhausted are born there like crows and palm trees. I am the自在者 here, because of self-conceit, so in the third ground of the first dhyana, it is explained that it is the Brahma, the自在者 of the world of non-endurance. In order to make it possible for those gathered there to generate knowledge of the path, the Tathagata, with the light of his own nature, makes the light born from the maturation of the gods and others themselves dim, as if with defilements, this is to let them know that only by destroying the continuum of pride can realization arise. Therefore, expressing the support with euphemistic language is: where is the light of the sons of the gods, etc., this is because it arises from the maturation of their own karma, that is, it necessarily arises from the habit of their own virtuous karma. Light is the appearance of light. And the word "also" also includes the body and so on. In "the power of the Buddha" etc., some say that power is the difference in ability, radiance is the form of light, and blessing is intention. Others explain that these three words, power etc., arise from the difference in the light of the actions of body, speech and mind. Overwhelmed, is to become dim and defiled. In "then" etc., the word "then" means immediately after, that is, after making it dim in this way, it is to eliminate the pride of manifestation of the world guardians etc. These, refer to the way of manifestation. From Subhuti, it means directly. Prajnaparamita

Therefore, it is called the wisdom of the path, which is its very nature. What is it to be separated from? The Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, etc., are spoken of in this way. "Close instruction," etc., means that during the time of listening, learning is close instruction in order to grasp the meaning of the scriptures. During the time of thinking, it is advice in order not to forget the meaning of certainty. During the time of meditation, it is subsequent instruction in order to generate what has not been before. To want to listen means to want to ascertain with the wisdom of hearing. How do Bodhisattvas, etc., want to listen to these? The Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, etc., are spoken of in this way, and the three phrases, "to abide," etc., should be understood in order during the time of listening, etc. Having prayed in this way, the noble Subhuti, with no pride and with the generation of the mind of enlightenment, possesses the share of realizing the wisdom of the path, through the door of showing the determined object. Kausika, etc., are spoken of in this way, and for what reason do they want to listen in this way? Therefore, it should be shown and declared. The mind is emptiness and the essence of compassion, thus it is thought. The establishment of the three vehicles is intentional, not intrinsic, and in this way, all beings are only the ultimate of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Therefore, in order for those who are free from attachment and other yogis to attain Buddhahood, the wisdom of the path should be cultivated. Because of showing such distinctions, those who have entered the Hearer Vehicle, etc., because they have not become vessels of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, for the sake of leading those of uncertain lineage to the Great Enlightenment from the very beginning, and for the sake of truly accepting others who have already entered, thinking in this way, the words of intention are spoken, such as "whoever," etc. The word "is" is the meaning of certainty, that is, whoever has entered into the certainty of reality and has entered into the path of his own Hearer's view, etc., they are Buddhas for the benefit of beings.

May it arise. Therefore, there is no fortune to generate the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment mind, and it is not a vessel. If all ordinary people can do it, then how can't the hearers who have realized the holy path do it? In order to dispel this doubt, it is guided by "why cling". They have cut off the continuation of samsara, and so on. Because they have completely burned the afflictive obscurations that cause the cycle of the three realms with their own path, these great hearers have cut off the connection from the continuation of samsara, that is, from the continuous life, and have determined that they will not be reborn, so they will not be reborn again and again. Therefore, they do not have the fortune to generate the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment mind. Combine this with the above. This shows: As long as the wise remain in the cycle of existence, at that time they can benefit sentient beings without equal, without entering nirvana. As it is said, if one is reborn again, by learning to benefit sentient beings through giving and other actions, then the pure bodhicitta will be close to attaining the Tathagata's state. Therefore, the great hearers have cut off the afflictions, thereby causing the root cause of rebirth to disappear, so they cannot generate this precious mind with the nature of fruit, because this will lead to no cause. However, ordinary people are able to do it because they have the complete cause as described above. This is what is meant to be expressed. If it is said that this word itself is the essence of reason, how can there be intention? Therefore, it is said "however" and so on. The suffix of the word "however" has the meaning of "from then on" in certain situations. "They" refers to the great hearers. "Rejoicing" refers to rejoicing through the rejoicing mind that will be explained below. What do you rejoice in? It is said "if unsurpassed" and so on. If the great hearers
