That is, enduring afflictions. If these ten are abandoned, the fifth bhumi will be truly attained. Thus it is said. By perfecting the six paramitas, such as generosity, aspiring to be a Sravaka or Pratyekabuddha, fearing the non-apprehension of intrinsic existence, feeling discouraged when begged by beggars, disliking giving away all one's possessions, and abandoning the mind of rejecting beggars due to poverty, in this way, through twelve complete unions as before, all the Buddha's teachings become manifest, and thus the sixth bhumi manifests, and one becomes all-knowing. As it is said: Generosity and discipline, patience, diligence, and so on, meditation and wisdom, perfecting all, towards disciples and solitary ones, abandoning joy and fear, not discouraged when begged, not disliking giving away all possessions, not abandoning even when poor, thus one attains the sixth bhumi. Thus it is said. Emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, by truly understanding these three doors of liberation, in sequence, without clinging to self, sentient beings, or life, without abandoning the ten virtuous paths of action with the three circles completely purified, abandoning clinging to individuality, realizing compassion towards all beings suffering from misery, without clinging to annihilation, receiving blessings from the complete Buddha-field, because one does not cling to all things, one is liberated from permanence, realizing the equality of all dharmas, therefore there is no clinging to signs, because the Great Vehicle belongs to the one vehicle, one abandons clinging to causes, because one fully knows that name and form, etc., are unborn, one is liberated from clinging to the aggregates, because one realizes the patience of certain understanding of the profound dharma, one abandons clinging to the elements, because one teaches all dharmas through the gate of the Great Vehicle, one is liberated from clinging to the sense bases, because one cuts off all conceptualizations, one cuts off clinging to the three realms, as well as clinging to signs, and views such as the view of the perishable aggregate, and afflictions such as desire.

Oṃ! Being free from attachment to worldly things, and through the power of cultivating tranquility, being free from the attachment of all discouragement in the mind, being skilled in wisdom and means, not being attached to seeing the Buddha as ultimate, cultivating the selflessness of phenomena, in order to calm the mind, not being of the nature of being attached to seeing the Dharma as ultimate, relying on the two truths, the wisdom that is unhindered to form and so on arises, thereby eliminating attachment to seeing the Sangha as ultimate, obtaining the wisdom of the non-attachment state, not giving rise to attachment to seeing discipline as ultimate, in order to correctly distinguish the Dharma, freely walking together in all Buddha lands as desired, therefore being free from clinging to disputes about emptiness, in order to liberate the realms of sentient beings who are attached to objects, showing oneself in accordance with them in all places, thereby completely abandoning the clinging that speaks of being contrary to emptiness. Thus, if one can realize that the twenty purifying dharmas have been accomplished with special characteristics as before, then because one is free from the twenty dharmas mentioned above, one is connected with the path of true spontaneous accomplishment, and in order to travel extremely far, one obtains the seventh ground that has gone far beyond. It is said: Focusing on the dharmas to be abandoned, attachment to self and sentient beings, life and the individual, annihilation and permanence, signs and causes, aggregates and elements, and pure sources, those who dwell and are attached to the three realms, the mind is all discouraged, to the Three Jewels and discipline, those who are attached to seeing there, those who argue about emptiness, those who are faults contrary to it, whichever of the twenty is cut off, that one obtains the seventh ground. Thus it is said, similarly focusing on the dharmas to be adopted, understanding the three doors of liberation, the nature of the purity of the three circles, as well as great compassion and lack of pride, the equality of phenomena and understanding of one reason, non-arising and exhaustion of knowledge, showing all dharmas as one aspect, destroying all discriminations, abandoning thoughts, views and afflictions, definitely thinking of tranquility, being skilled in insight.
