It is merely an appearance, just as grasping and accepting an example, similarly, the nature of phenomena such as form is like this. Because it relies on distinguishing from different objects to discriminate, seeing and not seeing are not contradictory in nature, because it is changing. If one understands one phenomenon as two by relying on the distinction of objects, that would be a mistake, this is his thought. These two are said to eliminate each other's inversions, but not only that, as mentioned before. This shows the collection of calm abiding. For those who have attained calm abiding, insight arises, so the collection of insight is, the Blessed One said "Subhuti, for example" and so on. The wise one is intelligent. The close associate of the illusionist is his student. Mentioning "the crossroads of the great road" is because that is the main place for the illusionist's transformations. The great crowd of people is the collection of sentient beings. "Manifesting transformation" means to perform transformation. "If it is made invisible" means to gather together. "What do you think" refers to the collection of meanings that were just spoken, generally asking "What do you think and understand", and then saying "Or do you think like this", which refers to "there, there is no phenomenon" and so on. "There" refers to among those crowds. "Who" refers to the illusionist and so on. "Any" refers to Devadatta and so on. "Killing" refers to the action of losing life. "Death" refers to complete cessation. "Destroying" refers to the action of an incomplete body. "Making it invisible" means making it unseen. The sound of "is" refers to that kind of meaning, the sound of "existence" refers to existence. He thought that if it truly exists, because there is no phenomenon, then none of these are existent, what is seen is just existence itself. Because he understood his thought, he said "Blessed One, that is non-existent". "If it truly exists" is the remaining part. In order to connect the meaning of the example with the thing that one wants to manifest, Subhuti.

Thus and so forth was spoken. In order to gather the vast teachings in brief, "if" and so forth were spoken. "Like this" refers to what has just passed. "Like this" refers to not exceeding the truths of conventional and ultimate reality. "How much" refers to what is being said. As an answer to that, it was said, "With these." This is said to mean that even with just having these collections of compassion and so on, it is called having put on great armor. If one focuses on emptiness with higher vision, one will fall into the Bodhi of the Hearers and so on, so the collection that is immediately connected after that is: requesting, saying, "How did the Blessed One speak?" and so on. The word "alas" is to affirm. "How did the Blessed One speak?" refers to focusing on the illusory nature of phenomena and so on. Thinking: The Blessed One said that the nature of phenomena is like this, so in what way did he speak of the meaning of the pervasive illusory nature, I understand in that way, so not exceeding the illusory nature, therefore the Bodhisattva Mahasattva has put on the armor of no armor. Because of promising without inversion, Subhuti, thus and so forth was spoken. With higher vision and omniscience, and with the samadhi of the Space Treasury and so on, isn't it putting on armor to accomplish the meaning of sentient beings? How could it be without armor? Welcoming such doubts with "Why is that?", Subhuti and so on were spoken. "Unmade" means because there is no cause of making with wisdom. "Untransformed" means because there is no cause of destruction. "Unmanifested collection" means that it is unreasonable for both the agent and the auxiliary condition to exist simultaneously. Or it should be known that these three words are to be understood in order, in the way that arising from nothing, and that becoming excellent, and manifesting the attainment of the fruit. Because of having vows, the Blessed One promised, it is just so and so on.

etc. are requested. If there is bondage and liberation, then how are these undone things, etc.? What is the reason for the doubt that some people argue about? It is greeted with "If you say so." The Blessed One, like this, etc., is said, otherwise it is unreasonable to act after admitting, so this will become irrelevant. Similarly, it should be said to others as well. In particular, entering in the manner of superimposition, mind and mental factors are bound by the three realms, because there is fire, so form is not bound. As it is said, separated from realization, because there is no liberation of fire, it is not liberated, because form etc. are merely non-existent. Then will the Dharma become bondage and liberation? Blessed One, said "of form" etc., if there is no subject, then it is unreasonable to have a subject, therefore the emptiness of form etc. is neither bound nor liberated. As seen, form etc. and its suchness will become bondage and liberation, understand it this way. Not knowing the intention of the venerable one, said "Venerable Subhuti" etc. through the way of refutation. The intention of asking is this: If it is said that form etc. and its suchness are neither bound nor liberated, then generally it should not be said that way, because it will contradict direct perception etc. If so, then is it specifically said? Said "However, Venerable Subhuti" etc. Because it cannot be analyzed and destroyed, therefore Buddhas and Bodhisattvas etc. themselves are illusory people, with this thought, from a general perspective, said "Venerable one, any illusory person's form" etc. How will these not become the fault of contradicting direct perception etc.? Greeting with "What is the reason for this doubt?", said "Because it is not true" etc. Some say that form etc. that are completely conceived by reason are not true, because they are false, and the conceived is remote, because it is separated from its own nature, and the nature of Dharma is
