If there is something that obscures it, then such a worldly convention is considered conventional truth. Therefore, all these various natures that are being cognized are true, otherwise they are false. Therefore, it is difficult to deny the objects of cause and effect as they are seen. That being the case, some say that conventional truth is without substance, and birth is substance, therefore, it is immediately admitted that things that can and cannot be objects are admitted. However, if conventional truth is birth, then the statement "born in conventional truth" becomes an admission of "birth is born," so nothing unwanted is established. Similarly, the statement "unborn is ultimate truth," and the meaning of the statement "not born in ultimate truth" also becomes unborn by unborn. If that is the case, then refutations such as "establishing what is already established" are said out of arrogance that does not fit the meaning of the occasion because they do not understand the definition of conventional truth. However, if one admits the fourth view that one cause produces only one effect, it is very unseemly. Like this, because it does not produce a moment of its own kind, therefore, for the eyes and so on, there is no production of their own consciousness, so it clearly falls into the fault of becoming blind and so on. Even if one admits that only one's own consciousness is produced, since the lineage of the eyes and so on is cut off, after one moment of consciousness, there are no eyes and so on, and there is no consciousness, so beings will effortlessly obtain blindness and so on. Therefore, whatever arises in dependence is not examined in ultimate truth, but is pleasing alone, like an elephant conjured by a magician. All these objects of form and so on are similar to that, which is a reason of nature. Because arising in dependence is seen as it is seen, it is not an unestablished reason. Because it exists in the similar class, it is also not contradictory.
