Therefore. Regarding "for gain, respect, and fame," gain refers to the perfection of wealth. Respect refers to cherishing greatly. Fame refers to being renowned in all directions. In the assembly place, firstly, at that time, for the sake of the continuity of the Dharma, in order to obtain tranquility and vast wisdom from the Buddhas, one will receive great instructions. As it is said, because one has not attained the samadhi of the continuity of the Dharma, one hears sounds in the sky. "Do not look to the left" means to the left side. "Not east," and so on, means not in the direction of east, etc. Regarding "By no means depart from me, nor from the perishable aggregates," etc., the reason why I and other invisible things are not perceived is because they are not recognized as existing. Regarding form and other selfless things that are on the path of seeing, because they are recognized as non-existent, by no means depart from them, go in that way, that is the meaning. "Will decline" means will regress. The obstacles to samadhi, such as physical fatigue, arise, preventing these, all of these are illustrated by approximate metaphors, therefore it is said that samadhi itself is lazy towards everything, as well as forgetting the object of focus, timidity and excitement, likewise not striving and over-striving, these are called the antidotes to the six faults, possessing eight kinds of actions of abandonment, contemplate the Prajnaparamita of samadhi, and go towards the east. Thus, that will be heard, this is how the instruction is given. In this way, having great faith in the merits of samadhi, the yogi will generate the intention. Then, relying on the power of abiding, one begins to exert effort. Then, relying on the power of effort, one generates extreme pliancy of body and mind. Then, from the extreme pliancy of body and mind, laziness will recede. Therefore, faith and the other four are for the purpose of abandoning laziness. Mindfulness is the antidote to forgetting the object of focus, therefore it can correctly fix the object of focus. Awareness is the antidote to timidity and excitement, therefore it can

Thinking about things that bring joy, such as the qualities of the Buddha, etc., one can abandon sinking. Thinking about things that are unpleasant, such as impermanence, etc., one can abandon excitement. When excitement and sinking have not yet been completely pacified, it is a mistake not to strive, so one should practice the antidotes to them. When excitement and sinking have subsided, and at any time the mind does not wander from the object of focus, and there is no obvious effort, but it naturally abides, then effort is also a mistake. Because that will distract the mind. Therefore, one should cultivate equanimity, that is what is said. Because one has received the correct teaching, it is said that one should do as promised. This promise is reasonable. To dispel the doubt of laziness, one asks "Why?" and then says "I want to benefit all sentient beings," which is easy to understand. By showing the absence of self in contaminated phenomena, and then showing the absence of self in phenomena, it is said to be like Sadāprarudita hearing the sound, and so on. In order to fully understand and abandon, and in order to realize directly, therefore, the meaning of emptiness and other samādhis is fully proclaimed as three types. As it is said, in what way does the conceptualization of separately appearing things like a vase appear? In order to fully understand this, the samādhi of emptiness is taught. Because the object of conceptualization itself is the false thing that should be fully understood, because it is merely an illusion, it is non-existent. In order to directly realize the illusion-like wisdom that is devoid of attachment to all phenomena, the signless samādhi is taught. In the conventional truth of yogis, the perfect accomplishment that is truly like pus is the nature to be realized. In order to abandon the power of others that arises from attachment to phenomena and persons, the wishless samādhi is taught. Because attachment to the grasped and the grasper itself is inverted, it is something to be abandoned. Some say that when generating the wisdom of the nature of hearing, thinking, and meditating, one should act like an illusory person, and that is how it is taught.

It is said that for the purpose of action, three words such as "completely abandoning characteristics" were spoken. Others believe that these are the stages of preparation, main practice, and conclusion of the samadhi of emptiness and so on. For the meaning of the characteristics of a virtuous friend, it is said that a virtuous friend is emptiness and so on, because in order to accumulate the accumulation of merit with accumulation, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and on the ground of acting with faith and desire, in order to generate conformity with the decisive part possessing the nature of the accumulation of wisdom, in order, unborn, unborn, unceasing, non-entity, is a synonym for teaching the Dharma. The so-called "completely understand" means completely calculating. The so-called "desiring Dharma" is because one sees the need for future Dharma. The so-called "respecting Dharma" is because the benefit that arises now is a close object. When the noble Bodhisattva Dharma Victory, together with sixty-eight thousand women, saw the five desirable qualities, he said, "The mind should not change," that is, "Son of good family, you should also understand the works of demons," and so on. The so-called "those who are overwhelmed by him" is because they have not become his control, so they are overwhelmed. Showing skillful means is to say, "This is the way to subdue sentient beings," and so on. After showing skillful means relying on the conventional truth, relying on the ultimate truth is to say, "In an instant, son of good family, you," and so on. The so-called "in an instant" is in the moment after seeing the enjoyment of the five desirable qualities. Similarly, in order to welcome the question of "why is that so?", it is said, "All dharmas," and so on, the so-called "self-nature emptiness" means unborn in reality. In order to show that the five aggregates such as form are selfless, five words such as "all dharmas are without sentient beings" are spoken. The so-called "like a magic trick"
