Until that middle point. From then on, until the state of non-absorption (non-absorption: mnyam par ma bzhag pa), like this, abandoning one absorption and so on, until reaching the cessation attainment (cessation attainment: 'gog pa'i snyoms par 'jug pa), one proceeds in different ways, therefore walking differently, entering absorption in a transcendent way, with the characteristic of having mastery, for all the great Bodhisattvas who wish to fully grasp the skillful means of the essence of the path of meditation, one should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it is said: The nine successive absorptions with cessation, coming and going in two ways, the consciousness that discriminates in desire, holding the boundary of non-absorption, entering absorption transcendentally, surpassing one and two, three, four and five, after surpassing six and seven and eight, one proceeds differently until cessation. Thus it is said. In the Twenty-five Thousand Stanza Sutra, with regard to this very matter, it is extensively taught that, "Subhuti, if a great Bodhisattva wants to be secluded from desire, secluded from sinful, unwholesome dharmas, and secluded from both conceptuality and analysis, possessing joy and bliss born of seclusion, having approached and abided in the first dhyana," and so forth, has been said, so do not doubt. Furthermore, the eight grounds have two kinds of connection, after surpassing one coming and going, one enters the third different kind, giving the transcendental absorption. Thus it is said, so what is transcendental samadhi like? Is it like the characteristics of a crow and milk? The way of entering is different, because the Bodhisattva who has obtained such skillful means, in countless eons, experiences hundreds of thousands of billions of countless eons, and has served immeasurable Buddhas, because of having a vast cause, therefore the path of meditation is extremely superior, so there is no fault. Thus, one should practice the path of meditation that is preceded by the recollection of the Tathagata, thus it is said, that is, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, and so forth. The phrase "between the passing of day and night" means even until the end of one day and night, even just for the snap of a finger.

Therefore, in order to show the many different benefits of properly practicing the path of meditation, the Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, any with an object" and so forth. The so-called "if the Perfection of Wisdom is attained" means by generating the path of meditation. In order to show the benefits again by the classification of answering questions, the Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with what intention does the Tathagata" and so forth. The so-called "for what kind of beings" refers to what kind of equality. The so-called "should not be suspected of being other beings" means that they will nevertheless tend towards perfect and complete enlightenment. The so-called "Subhuti, if these qualities and benefits" refers to the qualities of generating much merit and so forth, and the benefits of the Tathagata's intention and so forth. In the manifestation of the Ornament of Clear Realization, the Explanation of the Perfection of Wisdom, the twenty-eighth chapter called "The Chapter of Scattering Flowers." Having thus spoken of the path of meditation, in order to speak of the antidote to the four kinds of clinging and grasping, which are the opposing factors to be abandoned by it, therefore, through questioning, the Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, furthermore, Bodhisattva" and so forth. Among them, first, the grasping of conceptualization is divided into nine types according to the classification of objects, among which the meaning of the first conceptualization is that because all phenomena are without attachment, one should follow the Perfection of Wisdom. In order to abandon the conceptualization of collecting all phenomena, because there is no manifest attachment to all phenomena, one should practice the path of meditation. Similarly, under the control of subsequent conceptualizations, one should also know that the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom is the meaning of the path of meditation. The meaning of the second conceptualization is that because all phenomena are indivisible, it is so stated. In order to abandon the conceptualization of expanding all phenomena, because all phenomena are indivisible in the manner of the realm of phenomena and are of a single nature. The meaning of the third conceptualization is that because all phenomena are unborn, it is so stated. The Tathagata did not indicate
