The discussion and learning there refers to the supreme perfection of wisdom, the great Bodhi of all disciplines, and so on. Similarly, to dispel the doubt of "Why is that?", it is said, "Ananda, this discipline is..." and so on. "Lifting with one thumb and then putting it down" means that even if it is lifted up and then put down again, it has the same meaning. "Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, think like this..." and so on, is said in consideration of the appearance to the beings to be tamed. For the Bhagavat, there is no pervasive wandering of conceptualization. Similarly, to dispel the doubt of "Why is that?", it is said, "The Perfection of Wisdom is immeasurable..." and so on, meaning that it is considered to be due to non-conceptualization. Are there no other disciplines such as generosity? Why study the Perfection of Wisdom? To this question, it is said, "Ananda, the past and the future..." and so on. Having generally raised the discussion, now, in order to show the self-nature of the Great Bodhi, it is said, "Ananda, the Perfection of Wisdom is immeasurable..." and so on. "Inexhaustible" means that because it is inexhaustible, the Great Bodhi, which is the self-nature of inexhaustible wisdom, is the Perfection of Wisdom. To express this meaning, to dispel the doubt of "Why is that?", it is said, "Because there is no Perfection of Wisdom", meaning that it is inexhaustible. To show this more extensively, it is said, "Ananda, what..." and so on, in which the complete determination of the self-nature of direct perception is measure. Realizing the nature of being separated by inference is exhaustion. Determining "only this much" through these two or scripture is the end. The meaning is that just as space is merely the nature of being without substance, because it is not possible to grasp measure and so on, so too is the object. To clarify this, it is said, "Why is that?" and so on. Because the measure of the scripture is spoken, measure and so on are spoken.

It is so. The Blessed One said, "Ananda, I," etc., meaning that the only nature is the Prajnaparamita. If so, then to what do measures, etc., belong? The Blessed One said, "Collection of names," etc., wherein the words of the nature of all dharmas are the collection of names. The words of distinction of those themselves are the collection of words. The basis of those two is the collection of letters. The Prajnaparamita related to measure is the nature of names, etc., but that is not the meaning of the main Prajnaparamita. In order to clearly show that point, it was said, "Why is that?" etc. It means that, ultimately, the wisdom of the Tathagata itself is the Prajnaparamita, and in order to show that, in a convenient way of establishment, what has the nature of a treatise is called Prajnaparamita, but it is not the real Prajnaparamita. Therefore, from the perspective of that only, the Blessed One said, "Ananda, Prajnaparamita is not possessed of measure." The reason for asking why that only principle was not spoken of is, "Blessed One, why?" etc. In order to answer, the Blessed One said, "Ananda, Prajnaparamita is inexhaustible, therefore," etc. The so-called "because of solitude" means that because there is no birth, it is the nature of the wisdom that is born. The so-called "in the dharma of solitude" means that for things that are unborn, emptiness is not visible, because there is no dharma nature. The so-called "because of immeasurability" means that because there is no exhaustion and birth, it is the nature of unborn wisdom. The Blessed One said that the Tathagatas of the three times are distinguished by the wisdom of exhaustion and non-birth, that is, "Ananda, in the past time," etc. Among them, because of momentary impermanence, it is exhaustion. Because of continuous impermanence, it is complete exhaustion. The summary is, "Ananda, therefore."

Etc. were all said. Like this, afflictions and cognitive obscurations, those that are considered to be defilements that have arisen and have not arisen, are: not outside the realm of phenomena, because phenomena do not exist. Because the nature of the realm of phenomena is like the sky, without cessation and arising, or the nature of one and many, and acting in the manner of cause and effect, since there are no things established by valid cognition, etc., like a lotus in the sky, without cessation and arising, therefore, in order, it is impossible for all defilements to be exhausted and not arise, therefore, exhaustion and non-arising, possessing the nature of knowing, all phenomena, truly realizing, its characteristic is the Dharmakaya, the perfection of wisdom, as its nature, is called the Great Bodhi, thus it was explained. It is also said: The wisdom of the exhaustion and non-arising of defilements is called Bodhi, because of exhaustion and non-arising, therefore those, should be known in order. Thus, the thusness is explained, in order to eliminate the excessive attachment to things, and to eliminate the thought of the destruction of things, the knowledge that exhaustion is exhaustion, and the thought of the non-arising of future things, the knowledge that non-arising is non-arising, therefore, the Great Bodhi, in its own nature, is the place of inverted establishment, in order to directly show this meaning, then the venerable Subhuti etc. were mentioned. Similarly, what was said afterwards is, Subhuti, the perfection of wisdom is etc. The sky will not be exhausted, therefore all dharmas have no birth, this is to say, like the sky, it will not be exhausted, and because dharmas have no birth, therefore the Great Bodhi, possessing the nature of exhaustion and non-arising, will not be exhausted, this is its summary. In the initial stage, when practicing with attachment to the object of focus, how can such a perfection of wisdom be realized, thus praying, Bhagavan, Bodhisattva etc. This fault does not exist, because from the time of practice, all dharmas are like illusions, free from birth and destruction,
