In language: Because increase and decrease are prohibited in the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, for Bodhisattvas, increase and decrease are prohibited in the ultimate sense. Therefore, meditating like an illusion, in the conventional truth, one can correctly accumulate the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and one can attain the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment. If it is not like that, if there is increase and decrease, then it is completely inverted, so it will not change like that, this is what is said. Only this is the Suchness, this is what the Blessed One said, such as "Subhuti, if it is said like that" etc. Through "Bodhisattva Mahasattva should know to practice the Perfection of Wisdom", this is the question raised with the thought that some Dharma of Suchness is abandoned, such as "Blessed One, what is the Perfection of Wisdom" etc. Blessed One, "then how" etc., is through the way of prohibiting saying in this way, the Blessed One said "it is completely not like that", then, if the previously said "should know to practice the Perfection of Wisdom", then how else to practice? This is the meaning of the question. Saying like that in the way of conventional truth, this is what the Blessed One said, such as "Subhuti, and how" etc. "Subsequently seen?" refers to thinking it is true. The summary is what the Blessed One said, such as "Subhuti, if like that", because all dharmas are without object, so it is unreasonable to practice like that in the ultimate sense, but in the conventional truth, meditating like an illusion, because of practicing, one will especially generate faith in the unarisen dharmas. "Practicing this fearless path" refers to the path free from fear because there is no fear of close attachment. The three words "acting like that", because it generates the wisdom of hearing nature etc., so it is said for generating wisdom. The four words "Unsurpassed Buddha's wisdom" etc., are like a mirror.

It is spoken of in terms of the distinctions of wisdom and so on. Fourth, the meaning of the increase in the nature of the non-apprehension of the dharmas to be attained and the dharmas that attain enlightenment is the request of the Blessed One, "All dharmas," and so on. When the Venerable One asked again, he replied that it was a prediction in the conventional truth, such as "Rābhya's intention," and so on. Likewise, by asking "Why is that?" to welcome the question, he said, "All dharmas," and so on. This is called "for the sake of extinguishing thought," meaning that the Prajñāpāramitā is non-conceptual, so the Bodhisattva has no such conceptualization, and he asks and answers himself. The explanation of the Prajñāpāramitā, in the light of the Abhisamayālaṅkāra, the chapter on the Spiritual Friend, the twenty-second. Fifth, the meaning of the increase in the nature of possessing excellent roots of virtue is the statement of "At that time, the lord of the gods, Indra," and so on, because it causes fear in childish beings, it is as deep as the sky, because it is devoid of the nature of cause and effect, it is sequentially tranquil, therefore it is difficult to see, and because it is emptiness, it is difficult to realize. For the sake of generating the path of seeing, the path of cultivation, and the excellent path, the order is combined as such learning, practice, and yoga. Some say that guarding, benefiting sentient beings, and accumulating virtuous dharmas are for the sake of being separated from the dharmas that are contrary to the three trainings, so the three sentences such as non-destruction are spoken. In order to have the dharmas that are in accordance with them, the other three sentences such as perfection are spoken. Others say that because there is no fault in body, speech, and mind, the training is not destroyed, is immaculate, and is not contaminated, and because the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating is perfect, it is perfect, pure, and unmixed.

English

It is appropriate. The three words, such as "perfect patience," are spoken with the distinction of three patiences, such as enduring suffering. The four words, such as "diligence begins," are spoken with the distinction of diligence in starting, fully training, individually contemplating, and accomplishing. The six words, such as "delighting in meditation," are because they possess the invincible, the special meditation, and the realization of the first, second, third, and fourth dhyanas. As before, to address the question of "why is that?", it is said, "Which Bodhisattva Mahasattva?" etc. Sixth, the meaning of the natural increase of going to all the races of gods is what is said, "This Bodhisattva Mahasattva," etc. The term "I also" refers to Indra. The term "will not occur" is understood to be due to the blessing of the Tathagata. The chapter called "Indra" in the Explanation of the Prajnaparamita, the Abhisamayalankara, is the twenty-third chapter. Seventh, the meaning of the natural increase of subduing all the maras is what is mentioned, "Then, the Bhagavan," etc. The three words, such as "arising," are spoken with the distinction of the path of application, the path of no interruption, and the path of liberation. The phrase "will be pierced by the thorn of sorrow" means obtaining displeasure because it exceeds one's own realm of activity. "Practicing" refers to the mind that is not in samadhi. "Doing yoga" refers to the mind that is in samadhi. The phrase "exertion here is not" means that if it is combined here as it is said in other sutras, then the object is not indicated. Therefore, this explanation is a concluding remark that because the wisdom of the nature of hearing and thinking cannot understand, it cannot find its depth or taste its flavor in order. Because small, medium, and great bliss have arisen, they have become joyful, happy, and satisfied. Similarly, the mind is also at ease.
