Having perfected the swift and agile wisdom. In order to avert many and hard weapons, one averts many weapons in sequence and averts hard weapons. Changes in the body and so on are art. Works such as painting are crafts. Having mindfulness and so on is easy to understand. Because it is able to perfect, it is able to liberate. Because of having a collection of certain factors, enemies and so on approach, causing transformations of mind, speech, and body, therefore it is said in order as great fear, dreadfulness, and hair-raising. Because of being separated from all existence and being peaceful, it is liberated without harm. Because the body dwells in ease and increases, it is liberated in ease and auspiciousness. Because of desiring to manifest in one object, being connected to the enemy, it is a counterattack. Because of falling into the side of non-friends, it is unfriendly. Because of having compassion, it is very agreeable. Because of having a good friend, it is virtuous. Similarly, in order to dispel the doubt of "why cling?", the Blessed One requested, saying "like this" and so on. Because of being free from harm to the place of body and mind, it is untouched and unharmed. Showing the metaphor itself, the meaning shown by the metaphor is "Subhuti, just like that" and so on. Regarding this, for sentient beings, encountering happiness, separating from suffering, not separating from happiness, and the thought of benefiting, and the attainment of samadhi with retinues, are in order dwelling in loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Similarly, in order to dispel the doubt of "why is it so?", it is said "like this" and so on. In order to clarify this, it is said "Subhuti, at what time" and so on. Through "far beyond the side of Mara" and so on, it shows the method of truly transcending the Dharma of obstacles. To summarize, it is "Subhuti, at what time" and so on. Because all dharmas are meditated upon as emptiness, in order to show the skill in the method of dwelling without dwelling, it is said "Subhuti, for example, a bird" and so on. To this also...

The so-called "non-reliance" means that because space does not exist, one does not rely on it with the mind, nor does one abide in it with the body. Although this is the case, one still abides in it, which is to explain the method of abiding in non-reliance. The meaning explained by the metaphor is that Subhuti, the Bodhisattva is also spoken of in this way. By accomplishing the aspiration, the method of following the previous aspiration is explained, so it is said: Subhuti, for example, is called "arrow master" and so on. The so-called "until the wish is not fulfilled" is to explain the method of following the attraction of the aspiration. Combining the usual meaning with the Bodhisattva is like what is said about Subhuti and so on. Through the path of cultivation and the path of distinction, one attains complete maturity and very complete maturity in order. The summary is like what is said about Subhuti, therefore, and so on. All difficult practices are very familiar, and this is used to show the uncommon method, which is the prayer of the Blessed One, the Bodhisattva, and so on. Because of the good speech, it is repeated: Subhuti, it is just like that, and so on. Hearing, thinking, meditating, and so on, are successively combined with practicing in emptiness, and so on. Similarly, in order to eliminate the doubt of "why cling?", it is said: Thus, and so on. The scripture that establishes this meaning is: When the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is like this, and so on. As before, in order to eliminate the necessity of "why is it so?", it is said: Thus, whoever is skilled in means, and so on. From "He makes all sentient beings" and so on to "not manifest", by the power of the intention not to abandon all sentient beings, not realizing the true limit, this is used to show the uncommon method. Showing that one does not cling to all dharmas, thinking that there is nothing to be grasped is: Subhuti, moreover, what is said about the Bodhisattva and so on. Sentient beings

It is called "being attached to things" because of obvious attachment to things. It is called "not regressing" because if one focuses on tasting flavors, there is a possibility of regressing. The statement of not regressing from all virtuous dharmas such as loving-kindness indicates the method of not tasting flavors. Similarly, to dispel the doubt of "why is that so?", it is said, "completely grasping with skillful means," and so on. To show the meaning of the method of non-attachment through the emptiness liberation gate, it is said: Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva thinks like this, these sentient beings have long been attached to dharma, acting on attachment, and so on. Abiding in the samadhi of the emptiness liberation gate means that by fully practicing the samadhi of the emptiness liberation gate, the method of non-attachment is clearly shown. To show the meaning of the method of no-sign through non-attachment to signs is: Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva thinks like this, these sentient beings have long been attached to the notion of signs, and so on. Entering the samadhi of the signless liberation gate means that by realizing the fully practiced liberation gate signless samadhi, the method of no-sign is shown. To show the meaning of the method of no-aspiration through non-attachment to aspirations is: Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva thinks like this, these sentient beings have long been attached to permanence, and so on. The liberation gate aspirationless samadhi means that by fully practicing the liberation gate aspirationless samadhi, the method of no-aspiration is shown. Although emptiness and so on are common with the Shravakas and so on, to explain its special excellence as a method, it is said: Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, and so on. Among them, the opposite of the three liberation gates of emptiness and so on
