Since all phenomena are of an unapprehendable nature, with such a nature that is beyond conception, having directly realized it with non-conceptual wisdom, if one were to follow after conceptual thoughts, then because there would be reversal, it would become non-realization. Moreover, it is said that one speaks in conventional terms later than realization. Saying that "the realization of non-conceptual wisdom is not the realm of the Hearers," and so forth, refers to "Ema, Bodhisattva," and so forth. Saying that "the Hearers also have such realization," and so forth, refers to "Shariputra, why," and so forth, because realization is the same in just non-conceptual wisdom, so do not generate the mind that "this is profound wisdom." It is said for the purpose of showing sameness, referring to "Shariputra, with what Dharma do you possess," and so forth. At the time when an Arhat realizes with non-conceptual wisdom, why do you truly see or closely observe the Dharma of the characteristic of knowing the cessation of arising? Because it is reversal, and contradictory to realization, so he replied, "It is not so." Saying that "at the time of realization, the conduct of Bodhisattvas is also like this," and so forth, refers to "Shariputra, thus," and so forth. Thus, the answers to the questions asked about having no action, and so forth, should be understood as just as they were said. Thus it is said: "The answers to the disputes about having no action, and so forth, are just as they were said." In order to gather together the equality of samsara and nirvana, taking the necessity of this life as the starting point, he said, "When he practices it, people," and so forth. Because one has obtained the ability to practice without any object of focus, I will not become manifestly perfectly enlightened, otherwise I will definitely become manifestly perfectly enlightened, so he practices yoga in this way. If one cultivates the equality of both, then one becomes a Buddha in one's own Buddha-field.

it will become like that. Therefore, after that, by distinguishing between sentient beings and the container world, the two ways of showing the pure Buddha-field are what are said as "Shariputra" and so on. Among them, the impurity of the sentient world, such as hunger, etc., to counteract these, one must practice the pure Dharma such as the enjoyment of gods, etc. Similarly, the impurity of the container world, such as trees and thorns, etc., to counteract these, one must practice the pure Dharma such as being as flat as the palm of the hand, etc. In order, the two purities of the Buddha are realized in this way. In short, It is said like this: The sentient world and the container world are both impure, and by practicing the pure Dharma, the Buddha-land will naturally be pure. The meaning of the extensive sutra is easy to understand. Now let me say a little bit. Just like this, if someone asks "Why?", this is to elicit the question, and then answer: "Because he completely gives everything for the benefit of all sentient beings." and so on. To explain these more clearly, the sutra says: "He should generate this mind like this." and so on. Among them, "from everything" refers to the nature of matter from color and shape. "Everything" refers to matter divided by type. "All kinds" refers to the distinction of the forms of each kind. "In everything" refers to the way it is possible. "Will disappear" refers to being separated from nature. "Will not be known" refers to the absence of marks made by him. Similarly, if someone asks "Why?", this is to elicit the question, and then answer: "Because he is very happy with the root of virtue of completely giving away all wealth." and so on. To explain these in more detail, the sutra says: "He should generate this mind like this." and so on. "Harmful thoughts, anger and resentment", among which harmful thoughts refer to hating sentient beings. Anger refers to tormenting both sentient and non-sentient beings. Resentment refers to being connected to the enemy. To do it like that refers to the difference of mind.

It is for this reason. Therefore, the so-called "practitioner" is so called because it is perfected through practice. The so-called "effort" is so called because it makes diligence outstanding. Water becoming a wilderness means there is no water, which means there is its destruction. Similarly, why is that? After raising the question, the "Bodhisattva" and so on were taught. Water that is fragrant, sweet, and cool, harmless to the stomach and throat when drunk, and possesses eight qualities. Because such water is found, water possessing eight qualities will be found. Through the distinction of small, medium, and large, one will encounter happiness, well-being, and all happiness, which is precisely through attaining the path of seeing. It will arise because it can be closely enjoyed. The necessities of life, such as food, etc., are so called because they are the very cause of existence. A long, long time ago, just like before, why is that? After raising the necessary question, the statement "What is this moment of mind?" and so on were taught. Because that moment of mind does not truly arise, in conventional truth, it possesses such a long time, because it is separated from the initial cause, therefore it has no beginning, no prior end, it is a state of continuous growth, and because it is the nature of emptiness. Just like this, because it is infinite, therefore it is a long, long time ago. Do not be afraid of becoming fully enlightened, etc., and do not generate difficult thoughts, that is its meaning. The so-called "terrible and unbearable" means that external wild beasts and ferocious animals, etc., are terrible, and internal self-nature diseases, etc., are unbearable. Because it is impossible to practice, one might think that no one will enter the pure Buddha-field as spoken of. Then, starting from "Then, in that assembly" and so on, the statement "In this place" refers to the pure Buddha-field that has already been taught, because it is attainable through habitual practice. By the power of its perfect intention, he prophesied.
