Whatever has been transformed, that is the truth, what other better statement is there than this? What is unreasonable in appearing so clearly? If it is said that it does not exist in itself, then, for any thing, if a certain nature does not exist, then it is not the cognition of that thing, for example, suffering does not have the nature of happiness, etc. Blue and other phenomena are also not truly present in consciousness, because the distinguishing characteristic is contradictory. Since phenomena are determined to be false, it is not unestablished, and since it exists on the similar side, it is not contradictory. If, in general, it is proven from the ultimate truth that consciousness does not exist, then, since there is no valid cognition that harms the opposite of what is to be proven, how can there not be doubt about overturning the reason from the dissimilar side? It should not be said so, because here, it is only generally necessary to prove, and there is no uncertainty in this. Thus, there are two kinds of consciousness, namely, primary and secondary. Among them, the primary is the non-material nature, which is the unique characteristic of consciousness, how can it become a non-existent phenomenon? Thus, whatever is not the nature of consciousness, there is no primary consciousness, such as a lotus in the sky. The blue and other phenomena that are considered non-existent are also not the nature of consciousness, because the pervasive characteristic is contradictory. The secondary is also impossible, because if it is said that the arising of consciousness that manifests its own image is the secondary consciousness, then, like a horse's horn that is completely devoid of ability, it is unreasonable to consider it non-existent, because the characteristic of non-existence is the characteristic of lacking all abilities. Thus, whatever is without ability is not secondary consciousness, such as a horse's horn. The blue and other phenomena that are considered non-existent are also without ability, because the pervasive characteristic is contradictory. Since phenomena are false, the reason is not unestablished, and it exists on the similar
