Because it is not, it will surely be experienced immediately, therefore, since the gradual arising of conceptual thoughts will not be experienced, it contradicts direct perception. If it is thought that just as a mani jewel appears, a single consciousness takes on the nature of many, that is not true. Like this, whatever is many is not one, for example, the consciousness that exists in many continuums. To say that this consciousness is also many is to apprehend a self-contradictory nature. Because of apprehending multiplicity, it is not an unestablished reason. Because it exists in the concordant side, it is also not contradictory. Furthermore, by what does multiplicity reveal oneness, how are multiplicity and oneness contradictory? It should be said that other than the nature of many, there is nothing else that can be expressed by the word "many." If the many and the one also do not have their own natures mutually distinguished, because they are non-existent, the contradiction of the characteristic of abiding by mutually abandoning is not established. If the natures of two contradictions become one, then all beings will become one entity, therefore, the faults of co-emergence and destruction, etc., are difficult to avoid. Otherwise, "one" is just a name, and there is no dispute about that name, so it is also not an uncertain reason. For example, the appearance of a mani jewel is temporarily established, but it cannot be said that way either, because if the nature is one, it will not pervade the nature of many, so it should not appear as the nature of many, etc., because the refutation and examination are the same. However, it is not the case that the object appearing as blue, etc., and the object existing in another place and time are different, this will not become a direct perception, because neither of them appears. Because it is not apprehended that this is different from that. When the place and time are the same, it is also not from what appears as black, etc., because the direct perception without the conceptual thought that this is different from the action does not apprehend it. Therefore, the grasper and the grasped, etc., and the objects to be grasped, because they do not apprehend that they are mutually different, therefore multiplicity is two.

That which is said, "The nature of the nonexistent one appears manifestly," is also answered by this. Because one and many are contradictory. If it is said, "Because establishment and bliss are one, many are also one," that is unreasonable, because by the very nature of mutual contradiction, this one becomes contradictory. It is also not possible to know manifestly that this, this, and establishment and bliss are one. If the establishment and bliss that appear simultaneously are non-different, then something other than one's own nature will also appear. Why does it not appear as distinct? If one does not grasp what appears as distinct and considers it non-dual, then why not consider it non-dual by not grasping distinctness with the reasoning that "this and this are non-different"? If one grasps only the thing that is liberated from distinctness and non-distinctness, then how do blue and other diverse things appear? If one thinks that it appears as diverse, then in the world it is also said to appear as distinct, so why deny distinctness? If these clear aspects are truly the nature here, then would not all of this be contradictory? However, consciousness is just like a clear crystal, not transformed into the distinctions of blue and other aspects. Moreover, on such aspects, by the power of the complete maturation of beginningless inverted habits, just as elephants and horses appear to a person whose eyes are deceived by mantras and the like on clay lumps and the like, the aspects appear. Therefore, admitting that in the ultimate sense consciousness is the only nature is not contradictory, because it is false. In this way, if you criticize with faults, it is to be established that the aspects are untrue, and if so, that is also what we admit.
