It is said, "Thusness," and so on. That is to say, the thusness of all dharmas refers to the general nature of phenomena such as form, which is manifestly considered as substance, and means that it is unborn. In this way, the thusness of the Tathagata and of all dharmas are indivisible from each other, and the thusness of the Tathagata is shown to be the object of all. Therefore, that thusness is also Subhuti's, and it is said, "What is the thusness of the Tathagata?" and so on. Therefore, "born after the Tathagata" means born after in the manner of possessing thusness. If that is the case, then thusness would become substantially existent, so it is said, "Thusness is also," and so on. "It is not thusness," because refuting something without an object is unreasonable, so thusness is also like an illusion in conventional truth, that is the meaning. "Born after the Tathagata" means that the word "after" is a word in the instrumental case, and saying "of the Tathagata" is intended to express that it is related to it. If it is truly the nature of the dharma nature, then how is it born after? It is said, "Of the Tathagata," and so on. "Abiding" means abiding in conventional truth by the dharma nature of continuity. If that is the case, then the venerable Subhuti would become possessed of change and so on, so it is said, "How is the thusness of the Tathagata?" and so on. For it, there is no change of exceeding or being incomplete, and there is no transformation. Because it is free from the conceptual thoughts of self and others, there is no conceptual thought, and there is no conceptual thought. If the thusness of Subhuti is the same as the thusness of the Tathagata, then from where does the nature of being without change and so on come? So it is said, "How is the thusness of the Tathagata?" and so on. Welcoming with "Why would there be these doubts, if these are known?" it is said, "What is the thusness of the Tathagata?" and so on. This one

Iga ste. The term "non-different" means that because the action and the agent that differentiate, and the action cannot be clearly pointed out, it is non-dual and cannot be made into two, therefore it is not two, and it is the Suchness of non-duality, which is expressed by the distinction of meaning. In all ways, because it is separated from the very basis, it is not Suchness anywhere. Because there is no cause, it is not from anything. Because there is no connection, it does not belong to anything. Having connections, etc., will become the thing itself, therefore it will not become Suchness. Therefore, it is said "because of what," etc. Thus, "Venerable Subhuti" means that the Suchness of the Tathagata and all dharmas are thus of the same essence, therefore, because it is included in the Suchness of the Tathagata, the Suchness of Subhuti is the nature of immutability, etc. Therefore, this is the concluding word of "born in accordance with the unmade Suchness." Because all dharmas are born in accordance with such a manner. Then, what is the special excellence of Subhuti? Although this is true, only the basis of the dispute should be pointed out. Otherwise, how would the listener not become mad if he speaks meaningless words? To clarify this point, it is said "what is the unmade Suchness," etc. That is, it will never become not Suchness, which is the concluding word that it is only Suchness in all ways. In short, it is said "how is the Suchness of the Tathagata in all ways," etc. "In all ways" means at all times. "Manifestation" means completely separated, that is, produced. These two words just spoken are "not a complete kalpa," etc. "Kalpa" means not understanding, that is, not seeing. "Not kalpa" means understanding, that is, seeing. "Because the differentiating action cannot be clearly pointed out" means that because the same nature is reasonable in quantity, the quantity of differentiating action cannot be clearly pointed out on Suchness, therefore it is non-different and not a complete kalpa.

Yes. The Suchness of the Tathagata is the nature of the Suchness of all dharmas. If the Suchness of Subhuti is not like that either, then how can these two Suchnesses be non-different? As it is said, "The Suchness of the Tathagata is," and so on. "Not other" is a particle of speech, which is used in the first place of a verb. That is to say, the Suchness of the Tathagata is not other than the Suchness of all dharmas. What is it then? Just as it is its nature, so too the Suchness of Subhuti is its nature. "This is not the Suchness of anything" means that all things are Suchness. The Suchness of Subhuti is the Suchness of all dharmas. "Following the Suchness that is not other" means that because it is in accordance with the Suchness of its own nature, therefore Suchness is connected to all dharmas. If it is the nature of Suchness, how can it be said to be following? Here it says "some" and so on, which is a conventional expression. In ultimate truth, it is like an illusion, so there is no object that can be compared to it in any way. The Suchness of all dharmas is threefold time, and the Suchness of the Tathagata is naturally luminous and free from arising, so it is not like that. How then can these be the same? As it is said, "The Suchness of the Tathagata is not past," and so on. Because it does not have destruction that precedes arising, it is not past. Because it is free from future arising, it is not future. Because it is not appropriate to obtain existence, it is not present. Similarly, the Suchness of all dharmas is also like that, because the valid cognition that well establishes illusion is the same in all respects.
