Because all places are gathered without birth, therefore all dharmas are not practiced. By knowing the form of the path itself, teaching without attachment to all paths, this is practicing non-attachment. By knowing all things, all things are gathered, this is practicing infinity. Because all forms are fully realized, therefore it becomes the essence of the excellent path, so practicing non-thing. Because the realization of the peak is the characteristic of the ultimate path, so practicing non-grasping. Showing the nature of non-attachment is: Subhuti, it is so. Because "it is so, it is so" is the subsequent guide, so it is said "Subhuti, therefore" and so on. Therefore, the so-called "therefore" is the synonym of "because" mentioned below. The so-called "because" is Subhuti, thus the Bodhisattva Mahasattva and so on are spoken. Thus, the word "thus" here is used for the meaning of "for what reason". The so-called "non-attachment" is not clinging to things. The so-called "non-attachment to what others say and what others discuss" is: the monks of the sect clearly say "this is not the Buddha's teaching", this is what others say. Speaking secretly is what others discuss, not listening to these. The so-called "not following the faith of others" is because one has obtained the faith of conviction, so one is not shaken by others. The so-called "making it understand" is for the sake of understanding the scriptures and so on. The so-called "making it believe" is for the sake of focusing on the meaning. Similarly, in order to think "why is that?", Subhuti is spoken, and so on. It means that in other lives, without creating habits, it will not become fearless and so on. Fearlessness and so on, is to explain the practice of the form of the path. Showing the nature of the object is: Bhagavan, who is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva and so on. The so-called "in what way" is in the way of clinging. In particular

The term "examination" means definitely examining. The term "inclining towards omniscience" means that the stream of mind inclines towards the ultimate of the three aspects of omniscience. This explains the meditation on the three aspects of omniscience. Being skilled in specifically examining the stream of one's own nature of definite knowledge is asking the Blessed One, "How?" and so on. In the stages of application, main practice, and conclusion, the stream of mind that precedes the meditation on all phenomena as being like illusions is the specific examination of the stream of mind that inclines towards omniscience. What is said, "Subhuti, inclining towards the sky," and so on, are three words. The term "this is specific examination" is the concluding word for the definite and accurate specific examination of the continuum as described above. To dispel the doubt that "this is not reasonable," it is introduced with "Why is that?" and it is said, "Subhuti, omniscience is," and so on. Because in the ultimate truth, it transcends measure and the object of measurement, it is reasonable that omniscience is immeasurable and without measure. Therefore, by meditating as if on an illusion, the definite continuum is a correct specific examination, which is the concluding word. Otherwise, if there are objects of measurement and so on, there will be clinging to things as real, which is the meaning of the words. To clarify that meaning, it is said, "Subhuti, immeasurable," and so on. Among these, attainment is the path of accumulation, which is the nature of individual morality and so on. Realization is the path of preparation, which is the nature that corresponds to the decisive aspect of perfectly accumulating merit. Understanding is the path of seeing, which is characterized by individually realizing the all-pervading realm of phenomena. The path is the worldly path of meditation that focuses on worldly concentration and the formless. The fruit of the path is the supramundane path of meditation, which is the nature of knowing the truth of suffering and so on. Wisdom is what eliminates the great afflictions, the great, and so on, and is the small of the small, and so on.

It is the small path of self-nature. Consciousness is the middle path with the characteristic of destroying completely the great of medium afflictions, etc., and the small, etc. Birth is the great path with the nature of producing the great of small afflictions, etc., and the small, etc. Cessation is the path of joining the means of the middle way of abandoning afflictions on the path of meditation. Arising is the correct uninterrupted path that obtains liberation by abandoning afflictions. Diminution is the path of liberation that manifests wisdom by being separated from afflictions. Cessation, some say, is the remainder of the aspect of afflictions, and is the special path with the nature of joining, uninterruptedness, and liberation. Others say that the special path that manifests and accomplishes the specialty of qualities is cessation. Meditation is the vajra-like samadhi that destroys all indestructible obscurations. Separation from meditation is the ultimate path, which is knowing exhaustion and non-birth. Object is the general characteristic of objects. Direction is the distinction of objects. "No one can become perfectly enlightened," means that one cannot become enlightened through the conceptualizations of form, etc. It is said that "That is not form," and so on. If that is the case, haven't you said, "The object is all dharmas, and that is also virtue, etc."? If so, how is that possible? Welcoming with such a question, it is said, "Subhuti, form itself," etc., because the yogi realizes that form, etc., are like illusions in conventional truth, and that is enlightenment, which is the conclusion. As it is said: "Fame is only thus, not like meaning; realizing that meaning is the result of relying on it." It is like this saying. In the perfection of generosity, etc., the three perfections of generosity, morality, and patience, and one aspect of the perfections of diligence and meditation are of merit.
