From now on, in order to show that the mind is invisible, it is said "the mind is invisible" and so on. The meaning of "because it is not, that mind is invisible" is: the mind of complete imputation, because its nature is emptiness, is non-existent and invisible. The meaning of "what has not arisen is ignorance" is: other-dependence is without cause, because it has not arisen, it is unknowable. The meaning of "because it is not completely established, it is unattainable" is: the completely established mind, because its essence is not existent, is completely established, therefore it is unattainable. Or, connect "each with the three eyes of wisdom, etc." with "because it does not appear to all five of the Buddha and Dharma eyes, etc.", it should be understood as invisible, etc. "Sugata, therefore the Prajnaparamita is" etc., what is said is the words of close summary, at the end of the commentary of summarizing the mind, knowing etc., each and all should also be connected. Showing knowing the mind moving etc. is "opening and closing" etc., among them, from the perspective of establishing, the mind is scattered to its own object, this is the opening here. From the perspective of negation, the mind is not scattered to other objects, this is the closing. What has changed in this way is opening and closing. "Other sentient beings and other individuals" refers to the two differences between worldly and transmundane. "Abiding in form" etc., from the perspective of establishing and negating, all sentient beings arise depending on the five aggregates such as form, etc., this is a summary word. Declaring that point is "after the Tathagata's death" etc., what is said is: after the time of death, it arises as such, this is for those worldly eternalists, asking in a roundabout way "does it exist? what?" is the discrimination of the opening belonging to the Samkhyas etc. belonging to form etc. Similarly, I completely follow, because it does not exist and is destroyed, therefore it does not arise, this is the discrimination of the closing of those worldly eternalists. Understand through having the same state and having different states.

As in the sequence, as before, thus gone, after death sometimes born, sometimes not born, is called the dualistic conceptualization of the naked ascetics and others. Because it is impossible to express in terms of oneness and otherness, therefore, it is neither born nor unborn, is called the dualistic conceptualization based on the imputation of those who speak of the existence of a person. These conceptualizations, because they are actually born at any time, the Tathagata of self-nature existing in the unreal conventional truth, does not obtain a dwelling as in some ways. Thus, when emptiness is taught, in relation to the untamed beings, it is placed in other places and established as the stain of prophecy. Likewise, one should also know about the permanent self and so on. In that mandala of retinue, as previously said, according to the wishes of the close disciples who have differences in their views of self, he makes various distinctions and teachings. Showing the knowledge of the aspect of suchness is: Subhuti, furthermore, thus the Tathagata and so on. Thus, Subhuti, the Tathagata knows the form as it is, is: Whatever is dependent arising, you consider that to be emptiness. Thus it is said, by fully knowing the aspect of suchness of form and so on, knowing the distinctions and so on is also the meaning of suchness. Explaining the knowledge of showing and applying to others the suchness realized by the perfectly enlightened Buddha is: Subhuti, thus the Tathagata in suchness, the suchness of the Tathagata and so on. What is called applying suchness is to establish the suchness that follows all dharmas as one dharma, this is the wisdom of such application that is spoken of. The suchness that is spoken of is Subhuti, the suchness of aggregates and so on. Aren't all dharmas different from each other? Why is suchness not different?

English

It begins with the question, "Why is the mother's doubt?" The Blessed One then spoke of things such as, "Subhuti, the Tathagata..." Because the Blessed One, when teaching all dharmas through the five aggregates, said, "Why are the five aggregates named and numbered as the world?" Therefore, other distinctions based on characteristics such as the permanence of the world do not exist. It is only in consideration of the knowledge of the disciples who are close that the differences in dharma are taught. To demonstrate this, he spoke of things such as, "Therefore, Subhuti..." The statement, "Suchness is one, separate from many things, both existent and nonexistent," means that because suchness is the nature of unbornness, it is completely beyond the nature of things. Because it is neither one nor different, suchness is one in all dharmas through the aspect of emptiness. In the path of joining, it is separate from many non-things with characteristics such as the absence of a pot or cloth, and so on. Similarly, for the paths of seeing, meditation, distinction, and ultimate attainment, in sequence, because it is inexhaustible, unchanging, non-dual, and indivisible, "Suchness is one" should be connected to it. "Enlightenment of this suchness" through reliance on this Prajnaparamita indicates the wisdom of understanding suchness. The statement, "To truly show the world to this world," means showing the world as illusory to the world that clings to things. He knows suchness! He knows the non-inverted suchness! He knows the non-other suchness! These three phrases, in order, refer to seeing the nature of the fully imputed, dependent, and perfectly established as illusory. The statement, "Because he is fully enlightened to suchness, he is called the Tathagata," indicates the wisdom of completely knowing suchness. Who will have faith in this? It refers to those of uncertain lineage.
