Clarifying the activity itself is: The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat," and so on. Thus, by generating omniscience itself, it reveals omniscience, and it also realizes omniscience. In order to show the knowledge of the world, the Blessed One said, "Whatever is said in this way," and so on. "Imperishable, utterly imperishable," refers to the momentary and the continuous impermanence, which are sequentially imperishable and utterly imperishable, that is the meaning. If from the perspective of the nature of things, one might doubt, "How can it not change in that?" Therefore, it is greeted with "Why is it imperishable, utterly imperishable?" The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, emptiness is," and so on, because in the ultimate truth, the aggregates and so on are without self-nature, because they are emptiness and so on, so for phenomena without self-nature, there is no momentary and continuous impermanence, but in the conventional truth, these exist, this is how it should be understood. Showing the knowledge of the conduct of the minds of all sentient beings is: The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, furthermore," and so on. To ascertain the meaning of the vow, the question is asked: The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, how does the Tathagata," and so on. The answer is "Because sentient beings have no self-nature," and so on, because sentient beings are of an illusory nature. He knows perfectly by way of countless sentient beings and so on. The summary is: The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, thus," and so on. Knowing their mental conduct completely in this way is: The Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, furthermore," and so on, the so-called "by the very absence of sentient beings," means that there are no sentient beings, and there is no object in the ultimate truth, therefore, in the manner of the realm of phenomena, in the manner of immeasurable and so on, he perfectly knows the conduct of sentient beings. Knowing the gathered mind is: Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata spoke of the gathered minds and so on, referring to the exhaustion together with the gathering, and also the exhaustion

That which is called 'inexhaustible' means: because it takes that as its object and enters into the nature of reality, the mind that is gathered is exhausted in conventional truth, and one knows that it is the nature of destruction. But in ultimate truth, there is neither exhaustion nor destruction, so it is inexhaustible; one should thoroughly know the non-destructive purity as it is. In order to show the knowledge of the distracted mind, Subhuti! Furthermore, the Tathagata has spoken of 'the distracted minds' and so on. 'From the nature of reality' means from the realm of phenomena, from the very nature of no arising. Because one does not attend to it, the mind that engages outwardly in conventional truth is distracted, but in ultimate truth it is without characteristics. Because it is free from self-nature and momentary impermanence, it is inexhaustible, and because it is free from continuous impermanence, it is non-exhaustible. Because it is impossible to go outward, it is not distracted, and one should thoroughly know it as it truly is. In order to show the knowledge of the aspect of the inexhaustible mind, Subhuti! Furthermore, the Tathagata has spoken of 'the immeasurable and countless minds of beings are immeasurable and inexhaustible' and so on. Whose mind is immeasurable and inexhaustible like the sky? Because the minds of all beings appear on the surface of one's own mirror of samadhi as immeasurable and inexhaustible, one will know it as it truly is. 'Blessed by the Tathagata' means that the mind is blessed by great compassion until the end of samsara. 'Without cessation, without arising, without abiding' means that it is without the three characteristics of what has been done appropriately. Therefore, because it does not possess the self-nature of a phenomenon, it is without support. Because it cannot be measured, it is immeasurable. Because destruction is unreasonable as it is like the realm of phenomena, it is inexhaustible. In order to show the knowledge of the mind with desire and so on, it is said 'the minds that are completely afflicted' and so on. 'Not completely afflicted by afflictions' and so on, is because it exists only in illusion. In reality, the nature of afflictions, actions, and births are completely afflicted
