Being completely taken by a virtuous friend is due to relying especially on the virtuous friend. Only the mother (Prajnaparamita) who possesses the three distinctions mentioned earlier and is complete in characteristics can become a vessel for primarily listening, etc. It is said: "Made superior offerings to all Buddhas, From that generated the root of virtue, Possessing the protector of virtuous friends, This is the vessel for listening." It is said. A little bit, means a small amount. The so-called having served and venerated many Buddhas means having pleased them with bodily service and veneration, etc. The so-called having inquired means having completely inquired about one's own nature in order to ascertain the meaning of the doubts that have arisen. The so-called having asked questions means having completely inquired about the reasons. The so-called generating roots of virtue in many Buddhas is for the sake of practicing the accomplishment of the ten perfections such as generosity. Serving and venerating the Tathagatas, etc., becomes a vessel capable of holding, etc. It should be said like this. It is said: "Buddha's teachings and universal questions, Generosity and ethical conduct, etc., practicing, The noble ones consider it a vessel for receiving, holding, etc." It is said. This idea of Indra is reasonable, because whoever has the cause mentioned earlier will be particularly devoted. Asking the Blessed One means asking the son of the Buddha's lineage, etc. The three words, such as learning in this way, should be understood as the stages of giving, the main practice, and the conclusion, or by the distinction of the paths of seeing, meditating, and special paths. If one does not understand the meaning of being particularly superior, how can one understand that merely holding, etc., is like non-retrogression? To dispel this doubt, one welcomes it with "What is it for?" and then asks the Blessed One, etc. The opposite of the three causes mentioned earlier, such as serving and venerating the Tathagatas and completely inquiring, and practicing generosity, etc., are: small roots of virtue, and the nature of not asking questions, and not having previous familiarity.

Combine with the three words called "earth." Thus, because relying on the Buddhas shown as before, etc., with a special intention of superior aspiration, one particularly admires the Prajñāpāramitā, therefore, how should one understand non-retrogression? This is stated in a way of refutation. Just as it is said, even without the causes that have been spoken of, one will abandon it, namely, the Blessed One, those who do not believe in and do not understand this, and so on. If so, how can one know that one has abandoned it before with the thought of abandoning it? Welcoming this doubt with "What about that?", then one prays to the Blessed One, etc. Because the roots of virtue are small now, therefore, one thinks of abandoning the Mother, and therefore one also knows that one is abandoning it. Otherwise, it is unreasonable for the roots of virtue to be small in themselves, this is the conclusion. That is, one prays that one has not practiced the end of the past, etc. Śāriputra declared it as reasoning, thus speaking, that is, praying to the noble Śāriputra, etc. What is so amazing about this? There is nothing at all, because the result is in accordance with the cause. Because of the excellent faith that has arisen truly, one prays to the Blessed One, etc. How is it that by prostrating to the Mother, one is prostrating to others? Because there is no connection, so the doubt arises, welcoming it with "Why is that?", then one declares Kauśika, etc. "Born from this" means that in the stage of a Bodhisattva, because one is accustomed to the Mother, one has attained the state of Buddhahood, therefore, what is born from this is omniscience itself. In the stage of a Buddha, in order to teach the Prajñāpāramitā to the trainable beings, therefore, distinguishing it with the wisdom of omniscience is also the Prajñāpāramitā itself, therefore, because the cause and effect are related in this way, prostrating to the Prajñāpāramitā is prostrating to the wisdom of omniscience. "Thus" means that it is the cause itself and the result itself of the wisdom of omniscience. Practicing this Prajñāpāramitā

The three words, "now," etc., should be combined with the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating in order. After explaining the combiner, asking for the meaning of the combination is the request of "How, O Bhagavan," etc. Because the question is timely, it is said, "Well done, well done." "This meaning," etc., starting from these twenty combinations that will be explained below, one should fully inquire for the sake of the Tathagata's own realization, and one should think of fully inquiring for the sake of others' realization, and it is the meaning of realizing and knowing. Among them, the combination of not abiding in form, etc., is saying "Kaushika Bodhisattva," etc. With the distinction of four and self-nature, the two words "form" and "form" are spoken. If asked, what will become of that? The answer is "Kaushika thus," etc. Thus it is said, because of the absence of self-nature, the abiding in form, etc., is prevented, therefore, not abiding in that is called combination. What is said for the meaning of the combination of not combining is: "Kaushika does not say form," etc., which is a synonym for yoga. If asked, what will become of that? The answer is "Thus," etc. The so-called becoming yoga is because there is no combination with it in that way, so it will become yoga, and not combining itself is the meaning of combining with it. The profound combination is "Bhagavan," etc. With the meaning of non-abiding, the suchness of form, etc., is profound, so it is said to be profound in order to realize it at the time of all-knowing wisdom. The immeasurable combination is "Bhagavan," etc., with the meaning of self-nature being without defilement, form, etc., are difficult to realize, so it is said to be difficult to realize at the time of the wisdom of the path. In order to show that itself, it is said to be difficult to grasp, with ear consciousness and the consciousness guided by it.
