The so-called birth is the twelfth (chapter). The so-called "will increase greatly" is because in the eight dharmas and so on, Indra and other beings are engaged in speculation, and there are very many listeners, this is the concluding remark. Understood. The forbearance of knowing the Dharma on the path is what the Blessed One said, "Good son or good daughter," and so on. In terms of the Prajnaparamita, the sons of the gods did not understand, so for those who expound these (Prajnaparamita), what is the need to protect them? The question is greeted with "Why cling?" The Blessed One proclaimed, "Good, Subhuti, the Prajnaparamita is," and so on. The so-called "supreme jewel" is because it is the cause of completely pacifying all sins, because it is far from the path and non-path, so it can increase supreme joy, because it is beneficial to the sons of the gods and so on, so it is the supreme jewel, which can cut off evil destinies, this is the thirteenth (chapter). Again, what the Blessed One said, "Good, Subhuti," and so on, not only because there are many listeners, and giving supreme joy accumulates merit, but also because holding this Dharma itself becomes the basis for obtaining the fruit of Buddhahood, thereby accumulating merit, this is the concluding remark. Knowing the Dharma on the path, in addition, the Blessed One also proclaimed, "Good, Subhuti," and so on. Since it has great divine power, why are there so many obstacles? The question is greeted with "Why cling?" The Blessed One proclaimed, "Good, Subhuti, thus," and so on. The so-called "many enemies" is because since it has great divine power, it is inevitable that many people want to hinder it. The so-called "no matter how much it is cherished" and so on, means that no matter in what way it is increasingly cherished, there will be more enemies. After this general explanation, now for a special explanation, the Blessed One proclaimed, "Good, Subhuti, for example," and so on. The so-called "this great jewel is the supreme jewel" is because it exists for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, so there is no discrimination towards all dharmas, it is non-discriminating goodness.
