It should be understood that this is the Prajñāpāramitā that understands the path of those. The explanation of Prajñāpāramitā, from the light of the Abhisamayālaṅkāra, is the Path Knowledge, which is the second chapter. The third chapter, expressing the Omniscience itself. Without fully knowing all the bases, the path will not be fully and correctly known, so for the sake of expressing the Omniscience itself, not abiding in Samsara and Nirvana, it is said that this Prajñāpāramitā, and so on. The Prajñāpāramitā of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas realizes the equality of the three times' Dharmas as unborn, so it is hidden because it is not the object of the Shravakas and others. This, which has the nature of Kalpa, is not the shore of Samsara, because wisdom sees its faults. It is also not the shore of Nirvana, because of compassion, it does the benefit of others. It also does not abide in the middle, apart from the two, Samsara and Nirvana, because there is no entity. It is called extremely pure, because both wisdom and compassion are truly realized, so it is free from the attachment to both Samsara and Nirvana. As it is said: This shore, that shore, not at the edge, Not abiding in between them, Knowing the equality of all times, Therefore, it is called Prajñāpāramitā. It is said so. In the chapter of Omniscience itself, it is shown in a reversed way, because the Shravakas and others do not know the equality of the three times, so they are far from the true Prajñāpāramitā, and only with their own realization, they think that Prajñāpāramitā is separated from compassion and wisdom, so it should be known that only by clinging to existence and non-existence, they will fall into Samsara or Nirvana. Likewise, for the following, it should also be known that sometimes it is shown in a following way, sometimes in a reversed way, and sometimes in both ways. Whatever is dependent arising, you consider that to be emptiness. In this way, knowing the equality of the three times is existence.

is the very understanding of its meaning, and isn't that something that all beings possess? If so, then why are the Hearers and others so far removed from the perfection of perfect wisdom? "Bhagavan, it is also like that," and so on, is a request. The word "also" not only refers to other aspects of things, but also implies that it does not abide anywhere, and because it possesses the characteristic of manifest clinging, it is synonymous with the word "also." It will be abandoned, it will be distanced, these words are to be stated in order at that time and in later times. What reason is there for saying that one becomes distant from the Mother of the Conquerors by knowing it as a sign? To dispel this doubt, it is greeted with "Why is that?" and then "Subhuti, even from names" and so on are spoken. Among these, "Perfection of Wisdom" and so on are merely nominal designations. The nature of things, such as the fully conceptualized, is a sign. The perverted place of clinging is attachment. Just as the illusory snake conjured by a magician appears as real, but one does not recognize its own nature, and because of clinging to it as real, its lack of self-nature does not appear, similarly, because of the lack of skillful means such as virtuous friends, when one recognizes that it possesses signs, due to attachment to the object of inverted signs, therefore, for those such as Hearers who do not recognize the nature of things, there is no complete knowledge of equality, therefore, for them, the Mother of the Conquerors is distant, thus it is declared. Bodhisattvas and others who have eliminated the illusion of clinging to the appearance of things, the complete knowledge of forms and other dharmas is the complete knowledge of its equality. Therefore, for them, it is implied by the power of meaning that this Mother is truly close, thus it is said: "Bhagavan, like this" and so on. These attachments also refer to names and so on. When "how much" is mentioned, it includes the utterly pure and so on. Well spoken, because it is declared in opposition to the teachings and realizations of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Well shown,

The reason it is called "thus" is because it is the complete embodiment of the Mahayana teachings. The so-called "uttermost ultimate" refers to the realization of the ultimate of all virtues. These themselves are the distinctions between Sravakas and Bodhisattvas. As it is said in the sutra, "He is far away because of the gate of clinging to characteristics and the lack of skillful means; he is said to be truly near by those who are skilled in skillful means." Therefore, seeking distance from the Prajnaparamita, although it is the antidote for the Sravakas and others, it must be abandoned because of clinging to reality and acting perversely. In order to show that this is an unfavorable factor for the Bodhisattvas, it is said, "Venerable Subhuti, what is attachment," and so on. The so-called "emptiness" refers to the understanding that it is free from the "self" fabricated by the heretics, which should be understood in conjunction with the explanation below. Regarding "generating the first mind," here, generating Bodhicitta refers to the Dharma of the Bodhi-path, such as generosity. The so-called "only this" refers to offering with immeasurable quantities and so on. If someone says, how can generating Bodhicitta become attachment? This is what is to be explained by "Noble Subhuti, in what way," and so on. Because of acting perversely, it is said, "Kaushika, if," and so on. If someone says in such an attached way, "This is the first mind of the Bodhisattva," and similarly says in an attached way, "This first Bodhicitta should be dedicated," then in this way, attachment will arise, which is the meaning of the words. Why is it so perverse? Therefore, it is said, "Son of good family or daughter of good family," and so on. The so-called "cannot dedicate" refers to the fact that the nature of the mind is not originally produced, so it is impossible to dedicate through the dedication mind that is divided by the twelve categories mentioned earlier. Because this is only an approximate expression, it should be understood that it is also impossible to correctly recognize and completely understand through the nature of one and many.
