Isn't it the case that even those with wisdom also expound the Prajñāpāramitā? If Śāriputra is considered wise, then what particular excellence is there in bestowing the praise of "good" upon the noble Subhūti, which leads to goodness? Although there is nothing in particular, however, in order to demonstrate the greatness of self-nature, to benefit those who are to be tamed, or to dispel the doubts of future beings to be tamed, it is not a fault to speak of praise that precedes without dispute, by the very blessing of the Tathāgata. When demonstrating the greatness of the self-nature of no-mind, even though some may be of uncertain lineage, due to the sharpness of their faculties, in a situation that accords with the aspect of definite discernment, it is said that they are definitely irreversible due to the inconceivable difference of means, and this is "therefore" and so forth. Because that mind of enlightenment does not generate arrogance, it exists in the manner of non-attachment and so forth. Furthermore, the word "again" is because one examines things characterized by impermanence and so forth, so it is to be examined, and this is to be ascertained. For the eighth ground, everything is established as definitely irreversible, so there is no fault. In order to possess the characteristic of being completely undiminished, one must recognize that the Prajñāpāramitā of self-nature, which accords with the aspect of definite discernment, is inseparable. The word "again" is not only for examining irreversibility. Thus, having described the object and aspect, in order to show the difference in the cause of slight warmth, the Śrāvakabhūmi and so forth are mentioned. The very knowledge that has attained the state of special knowledge is the ground. Wanting to learn it, that is, wanting to practice it. This word "this" mainly refers to the most excellent aspect that accords with the aspect of definite discernment, and because the discriminating consciousness and the consciousness of mind led by it completely determine the scriptures and meanings, it should be listened to. It is to be grasped by the mental activity of the nature of thought. It is to be severed by perfecting it through the practice of the nature of meditation. Having vowed, it is to be read by reading the scriptures. It is to be completely understood through scripture and realization.
