In order to subdue others, in order to generate rare things there, in order to increase the number of Shravaka dwellings, in order to show non-attachment, in order to make places into stupas, for the sake of the merit of beings, and in order to pacify plagues and the like, the Buddha travels. Therefore, with a mind that is extremely focused on benefiting others, he once resided on Vulture Peak Mountain. The following words should be connected to this. Because at other times it is for residing in other places. Afflictions, karma, and what arises from them, likewise afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge. He who destroys all opposing dharmas, therefore he is called Bhagavan (bcom ldan 'das) here. In the manner of a definitive word expressing meaning, because he possesses the ability to destroy afflictions and the like, he is Bhagavan. Furthermore, dominion and beauty, splendor and fame and wisdom, and perfect diligence, these six are called fortune. Because he possesses these, it should be connected with "the Bhagavan who possesses perfect dominion and the like resides." In the special place where the meaningful name is widely known, in Rajgir, when the Tathagatas teach the Victorious Mother, it should be regarded as the same as the place of manifest enlightenment, because the burden of the great assembly of Bodhisattvas cannot be borne by other places. Whatever exists as a collection of various jewels, that is Vulture Peak. In the manner of a definitive word that gods and others who desire merit gather in large numbers on the eighth and other occasions, it is a mountain. Residing there, with various kinds of miraculous displays, he first shows the rare Dharma that transcends the world, and with the universally proclaimed miracle of Dharma, he fully knows thoughts and habits and matures them, and then with the subsequent miracle of manifestation, he liberates beings who are tamed by the three vehicles, especially those who cause remembrance and the like, thereby accomplishing the meaning of manifest desire, the activities of body and speech, and the nature of the mind focused on Dharma and sentient beings, conduct, teaching the Dharma, and meditative absorption.

Where, and also truly establish within, abiding in such a way with four aspects. If it is the parents who have already occurred, isn't the connection of the word 'ti sma' made at the time of concealment? Here, since it is not a concealment that gathers that time, how is it connected as abiding? Indeed, but after that, it is also said to be not concealed, so this is very good. Or, is it due to the previous declaration? Depending on other beings, it is to indicate approaching concealment, so there is no fault. Similarly, it should also be said for things like 'has been taught'. The term 'bhikshu' means those who have completed ordination by not being suitable to establish requests and four actions, or by 'come here', and who have destroyed the assembly of afflictions. Sangha is the Buddhas, Dharma, and Sangha, Even a hundred million demons, Cannot divide for what reason, Therefore, it is called Sangha. Because of this. 'Great' means powerful because it possesses number and great qualities. 'One method' means together, and should be connected as abiding completely surrounded. Among them, the great number is expressed by 'one thousand two hundred' and so on, and the meaning of the words is easy to understand. Saying the number is to define the meaning of taking a definite number from the infinite assembly of hearers. Mentioning the abbreviated number from many meanings is for the purpose of making it easy to understand without forgetting, and for the purpose of making those who are afraid of hearing, holding, and listening, or for the purpose of easily knowing the limit. The great quality is mentioned by 'everything also' and so on, here, everything is also suitable for offerings, benefits, and gatherings, so it is an Arhat. 'Asrava' means that which flows into samsara at the edge of the peak of existence, namely the three asravas of desire, existence, and ignorance. The antidote to that is the exhaustion of whatever is appropriate by obtaining the aggregates of morality, etc., which are without asravas, that is, the exhaustion of asravas. That which is free from afflictions, actions, and pervasive afflictions of birth is without afflictions. Morality.
