, as well as knowing the minds of others, remembering past lives, and knowing the exhaustion of defilements, these are called the six superknowledges. The thirty-seven dharmas of the path to enlightenment will be explained below. In short, etc., in short, for the eighty-four thousand actions such as desire, for each action, how many scriptures completely explain the antidote, there are as many collections of scriptures, called Dharma aggregates, a total of eighty-four thousand Dharma aggregates. The wisdom of the Buddha, etc., because he understands all knowable things and has excellent wisdom, he is the Buddha. Without the teaching of others, he understands by himself, so he is self-born. Because these are wisdom, they are called that. Moreover, because it is beyond all objects of thought and is of a peaceful nature, it is inconceivable wisdom. The wisdom heard before, etc., because all these teachings are the cause of the Dharma realm being the same, so it is the same cause of the Prajnaparamita, heard when the Buddha appeared before. Afterwards, having love means having compassion. Here, it refers to the Saha world. This refers to the world where Buddhas do not appear. Not having the limbs of enlightenment, some explain that the Tathagata did not appear because the people there did not have the opportunity to realize enlightenment. Others say that it is because of the lack of wisdom and skillful means. Mentioning the five superknowledges is because it is impossible to exhaust defilements at that time, so it is said here. In order to show the greatness of the mother of the Buddhas by analogy, therefore it is said, "Kaushika, for example," etc. Medicines and constellations, etc., medicine refers to grains, etc. Constellations refer to Rohini and Jupiter, etc., so they are called that. Or, some medicines appear like stars at night, so it is said. They are nourished by the rays of the moon, their bodies grow completely, and they generate special powers, so understand

As stated in the rules, "as is the power and as is the might" refers to what has been said. "Universally appearing" means showing one's own power. "The stars also" refers to kings and so on. The meaning of the example shown is stated, such as saying "like Kauśika." "Passed away" means completely liberated from suffering. "Practicing Dharma" and so on refers to diligently engaging in writing scriptures and other Dharma practices, which is practicing Dharma. Learning the equality of self and others is practicing equality. In order to abandon defilements such as attachment, cultivating the antidote is practicing peace. Relying on the four means of gathering and so on is practicing virtue. Superimposition is entering. It is the training of extreme cultivation. The three sentences, "born from Bodhisattvas" and so on, are due to the distinctions of application and so on. "Skillful in means" refers to what has already been said. Or it refers to being skillful in emptiness and great compassion, as well as the actions that arise from them. In order to show the great nature of the Mother in other ways as well, it is said, "Kauśika, furthermore," and so on. "Attention" refers to focusing on the general aspect in a concise manner. "Recollection" refers to manifesting each branch extensively. Again, relying on other meanings, because it is said that that meaning is repetition, therefore, because repetition is avoided, it will not become the time of death, and so on. Having said these things, one should not doubt that there is a fault of repetition. Like this, previously it was spoken from the perspective of the path of seeing, and now it is spoken from the perspective of the path of cultivation, so there is a difference. "The great minister of the king" refers to the great minister who shows the path of understanding without inversion. "Minister" refers to the minister who tames elephants. "If one comes near" means to come near to that. Like this, the particle of the word "like this" has the meaning of "because," that is to say, those who are close to the nature of sound ascertain the meaning.
