That which is "Thus" is said to be that. Or, that which is permitted to be freely combined with certainty by those with inherent qualities such as hearing from previous Buddhas, is called "Thus." The meaning of "What need to say" is that even when observing things like comprehending in a particularly superior way beyond hearing and understanding, there is still doubt. As for "learning in suchness" and so on, in the sense of non-difference, the nature of suchness is suchness itself. As for "learning in its cause" and so on, it should be said that these three verses are situations of combination and so on. "Serving and honoring the Tathagata" means that serving and honoring the Tathagatas with great offerings, listening to what they say, and making offerings, is called "Thus." Is there no connection between serving and honoring the Tathagatas and listening to the mother of the Victorious Ones? If so, how can he infer from this? To dispel this doubt, it is answered with "This is like this." Because from the Prajnaparamita arises all-knowing wisdom, that is, the Buddha himself can fully reveal and truly arise. Therefore, one should strive from this, because without a cause there will be no result. To illustrate this with an example, the Bhagavan answered with "This is like this, for example." This shows that without a cause, there will be no result. Therefore, since it arises from the Prajnaparamita, if one seeks the Tathagata himself and plants the seeds of fully developed habits in the realm of hearing and so on, then one will attain the state of the Tathagata. Such equality and so on sometimes depend on special causes, so it can be inferred that its own special cause is serving and honoring the Tathagata and so on. Because: From the causes and results, this Dharma nature exists. That which is not that, with a cause, that which is not that, arises from the cause. That is what it means. Having become the master.

You have spoken well, and what was said after Indra was "Kauśika, it is just so," and so on. In order to show the greatness within the small, it is asked whether the Blessed One does not praise the perfection of giving, and so on. "Praise" refers to not speaking in terms of the difference between the condensed and the extensive benefits. "Not fully proclaiming" should be understood as merely mentioning the name. "Merely proclaiming a single name" means repeatedly uttering the name. The noble Asanga said that the characteristic of each of the perfections, such as giving, is that by relying on the mind of enlightenment itself, it is a superior basis; by the complete conduct of all things without exception, it is a superior thing; by benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, it is a superior purpose; by being completely grasped by non-discriminating wisdom, it is a superior skillful means; by dedicating it to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, it is a superior dedication; and by perfectly accomplishing the removal of afflictions and the obscurations to knowledge, it is a superior purity. In order to accept, he said, "Ananda, it is just so," and so on. If all six perfections are the cause of attaining Buddhahood, then how is it that only one is mainly taught? To answer this doubt, he said, "The perfection of wisdom is," and so on. Because of the purity of the three spheres, by dedicating giving and so on to omniscience, it is the first to enter, therefore it is preliminary, and therefore he speaks its praise and fully proclaims its name, connecting it with the previous statement. In order to show from the very words of the meaning that has been explained, he said, "Ananda, what do you think," and so on. "Giving that is dedicated to omniscience" means that it is not dedicated to Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings through non-objective yoga, the perfection of wisdom.

That which is called "remainder" is what is left over. Such giving is not perfect, because the fruit is exhausted by being enjoyed. Those with wisdom of manifestation, reality, and following, taught by saying, "It is not the meaning held from what was asked." In order to compare morality and so on, it is said, "Likewise, morality that has not been dedicated," and so on. Thus, by the door of repetition, it is shown that by the power of being completely grasped by wisdom, giving and so on are the nature of paramitas. In order to show the nature of the perfection of wisdom, it is said, "Ananda, what do you think, all roots of virtue are dedicated to omniscience," and so on. Because the object is without object, the result is inconceivable. "Bhagavan, it is so, it is so," and so on, was requested. Because individual beings with objects cannot conceive of it, it is inconceivable. Because it is not the realm of hearers and so on, it is supremely inconceivable. In order to gather the meaning of the Mother Perfection of Wisdom, it is said, "Ananda, therefore, because it is supreme," and so on. By making a conclusion that goes first, it is said, "Ananda, therefore, because of this, all roots of virtue are dedicated to omniscience," and so on. "Leading" means that giving and so on lead to enlightenment. "Completely leading" means that all harm is averted. By this method, by the method that has been spoken, the five, giving and so on, are included within the Perfection of Wisdom, and if this is proclaimed, then all six perfections will be proclaimed, so it is said that it is not only the mother of the victors that is taught, this is the concluding word. And also, "Whatever I praise and speak of the Perfection of Wisdom," and so on, what was said before is what should be made primary, so there is no fault. In order to show this meaning by example, it is said, "Ananda, it is like this, for example, the great earth," and so on, born.
