In order to dispel the doubt that "it is not spoken by the Buddha," merely citing some reasons from that, the wisdom of the path, which has the nature of the path such as the seeing of Bodhisattvas, is placed separately. Following the verses, whether it conforms to the treatise of the Ornament of Clear Realization or not, the wise should investigate in this way. Regarding this, the explanations of the noble Vimuktisena and others are also shown, and this is indeed shown by one's own ability. Some say that without explaining the meaning of the collection of scriptures that speak of other meanings, only the sixteen moments of the path of seeing are symbolically represented here. Therefore, treatises that are dedicated to explaining meanings such as conforming to the definite parts of explanation and non-explanation should also be viewed in the same way. Others say that since they have not shown the stages of meditation and so on, they have not shown even a little of the stages of clear realization. Then how can the meaning of the verses of the Ornament of Clear Realization be explained? The root of the collection of afflictions such as desire is attachment to things, and the opposite of that is familiarizing oneself with selflessness. Therefore, if there is no selflessness, how can the knowledge of Dharma and so on arise in relation to suffering? That is not the case. Because, as it is said, these sixteen aspects that are dedicated to showing selflessness in various ways are entirely for the benefit of those beings who can be tamed. Therefore, although the reasons spoken in this way have been shown in various ways, once truly familiarized, the path of seeing will arise due to the nature of dependent origination. This should be ascertained, and it should be understood in the same way for others as well. After the path of seeing, the path of meditation should be spoken, but because there is little to be spoken and the beings to be tamed are focused on the result, the function of the path of meditation is temporarily shown, which is the mention of "Bhagavan" and so on. The so-called "Prajnaparamita" is the path of meditation that will be explained below. Abiding nearby for the sake of complete taming.

The term "subduing" means that in order to be able to independently control all afflictions, it is through the meaning of all subduing that it becomes the cause of complete subduing, manifesting inclination. This is called the initial act of subduing. The term "without arrogance" means that after subduing, when a slight realization gives rise to a sense of superiority, self-conceit is prevented, and in order to avoid praising oneself, one completely prostrates with the meaning of all prostration. This is called the second act of prostration. Thereafter, the phrase "overpowering attachment and other afflictions in every way" is to show the third act of overcoming afflictions, so it says " कौशिका (Kauśika, Kauśika, Kausika) " and so on. The phrase "this will be held" refers to the stages of the path of meditation explained below. In "at the time of battle," etc., when engaging in battle with the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation, by realizing the first aspects of the great of the great, etc., the first set of three of the unfavorable side, and the small of the small, etc., of the favorable side, if one enters the beginning of the battle, or if one has entered. The three phrases beginning with "entering the battle" should be spoken in conjunction with the realization of the second aspects of the favorable side, such as the medium of the small, etc., of the second set of three of the unfavorable side, such as the medium of the great, etc., according to the number. The phrase "going into battle" means that one has obtained the great of the small of the unfavorable side and the small of the great of the favorable side. The phrase "standing" means standing in battle by manifestly realizing the medium of the small of the unfavorable side and the medium of the great of the favorable side. The phrase "even remaining" means remaining in battle, because the small of the small of the unfavorable side is perfectly in accordance with the great of the great of the favorable side, so one remains well in battle. All of these explain that by eliminating the nine aspects of the unfavorable and favorable sides, and by transcending, there is nothing more to be done on the path of meditation. Non-abiding is impossible. To explain that is unnecessary.
