Thus, having explained the two kinds of limitless objects, in order to state the limitless sentient beings, it was said, "Sentient beings are limitless, without end." As before, in order to welcome the question, "Why is that?" it is said, "Sentient beings," and so on. Here too, as before, it is drawn out from the heart. The first "limitless sentient beings" is established by negating the aspect of extreme birth. In order to show the second limitless sentient beings to those who are attached to things accumulated from beginningless time and have not realized the aforementioned limitless sentient beings, it is said, "Noble Subhuti, how," and so on. "How" means abandoning, because there is no prior limit, etc., therefore sentient beings are limitless, and Prajnaparamita is not limitless. What is it then? It is desired to be related to numbers, etc. What is said by knowing the intention itself is "Kaushika, counting," and so on. "Not in accordance with counting?" means not in accordance with counting as one, etc., because it is not related, therefore "not in accordance with counting," the letter A is taken out from the heart, it is a synonym for "beyond number itself." What is called "with many counts" is, just as the number reaching sixty is called countless, because it has infinite numbers, so it means "with many counts." If even with the two aspects that correspond to it, it cannot become limitless sentient beings, then with what aspect can it become? Therefore it is said, "Noble Subhuti, then how," and so on. In order to show it with its words, it is said, "Kaushika, what do you think?" and so on. What is said by the blessing of the Tathagata, through knowing the suchness of the Dharma's own nature, is "Noble Subhuti, for example," and so on. Because Dharma is what holds its own nature, therefore what is called sentient being is not a technical term for Dharma that holds its own nature. Because in suchness, Dharma that has a cause does not exist. Because there is no negation for something without an object, it is also not a technical term for non-Dharma. Thus, mind

How is the term "existent" used? It is said, "This is named," and so on. The negation of the aspects of cause, co-emergence, increase, and condition are the four terms, "suddenly arising," and so on. "Nominal" means imputation, which is the meaning of "mere" in conventional truth. Thus, if cause and so on are negated, it will be understood that there are beings without the cause of destruction, and for the sake of questioning, it is said, " कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Kaushika, what do you think?" and so on. "Without cause, not dependent on others, what is eternally existent will become non-existent, things are occasional, arising is dependent on others." Because it appears to exist as impermanent things by such reasoning, the noble Subhuti said, "It is not so." Now, in order to connect that word with the meaning of infinity, it is said, " कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Kaushika, to what?" and so on. To what is merely conventional truth, without indicating any truly existing beings, what relationship is there with infinite and countless beings? Because there is nothing to be counted. In order to indicate that, it is said, " कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Kaushika, if" and so on. The word "again" includes not only a short time but also countless eons. "The sound that distinguishes the infinite" means the sound that makes the infinite realm of beings understood. "Profound intonation" means continuous for a long time. These two words are the characteristics of "sound." Sound is also considered to be the function of the throat and so on. "To that" means to merely conventional truth, or even a synonym for what has already been understood. "Because of the dependence on expressing what is intended, sounds are wherever, existent or non-existent, if it exists, it can accomplish meaning, then everything can accomplish everything." Because he has such an idea, the noble Subhuti said, "That is not." Because the intention to express the combination of sound and things as they are is not established, in order to welcome the question, "If so, why is it not so?" it is said: beings
