Those words are understandable, meaning that when expressed through the power of symbols, those words can be understood and have meaning. Regarding "What does the venerable Subhuti say and speak?" etc. It is said in the Sutras that the Shravakas rely on the teachings of others to realize their own Bodhi, while the Pratyekabuddhas, through previously heard and other manifested factors, do not rely on the teachings of others, but realize Bodhi on their own. Therefore, for them, the Buddhas and others do not doubt whether teaching is necessary, which is a special way of entering. Because of this reason, the words spoken regarding the aspect of the Pratyekabuddhas are incomprehensible in their meaning, which is the meaning of the words. The meaning of "elucidating" etc. has already been explained. Alternatively, teaching after requesting is elucidation. Answering after questioning is detailed explanation. Both of these situations are for the sake of taming ignorant beings, and elucidation is teaching. For the negligent, going and specifically speaking is approaching teaching. The sons of the gods should know that this thinking is the result of the Tathagata's power. Otherwise, if starting from the Pratyekabuddhas, the noble Subhuti says nothing, how would they generate thinking? To indicate agreement with "understanding in accordance with reality," it is said "the sons of the gods are unable to understand" etc. After saying "unable to understand," saying "well said" is the remaining part. Saying it twice is because: For wonder and debate, anger and frustration, and determination and acceptance, faith and joy, etc., a word should be said twice. According to what is said, it should be understood as wonder and determination, etc. So, how is it well said? As said like this etc., because the listener speaks meaningless words, how can he not be a madman? In this way, regarding speaking etc. for the sake of self-realized Dharma, nothing at all is heard here. Therefore, speaking etc. for those purposes is incomprehensible in its meaning.

It is well said. The Shravakas teach the Dharma with words and cause others to engage in virtue, so that the listeners understand the ability of the speaker through verbal expression, while the Pratyekabuddhas, having abandoned the conceptualization of grasping one side of the obscuration of knowledge, teach the Dharma without verbal expression through the power of their own attained wisdom, causing others to engage in the ten virtues and so on. Therefore, their wisdom is profound because it cannot be understood by others, which is the second excellence. In this way, in order to show the nature of their wisdom here, things like the nature of words, the explanation of the signs of the fruit, etc., are also mentioned here slightly, otherwise, in order to strongly prove that only things are contrary to nature, there is no explanation. Because of that reason, it is also impossible to know, which is well said. The self-born Pratyekabuddhas, for the sake of their own enlightenment, other's instructions are meaningless, in this way, the noble Subhuti thinks that this is exactly the abandonment by answering the conceptualization of nature, we think so. Like this, if it is not eliminated, but it is said that other wisdom is profound, what the sons of the gods say is, alas, the noble Subhuti will clarify and so on. The sound of Ema is for certainty. Arising only from the realization of the selflessness of the person, therefore it is not the object of the Tirthikas, so it is said that the wisdom of the Shravakas is distant. More distant than that, because the faculties are dull, so it is not the object of the Shravakas, but the wisdom of the Pratyekabuddhas. Subtle, because it is the fruit of abandoning the obscuration of afflictions, so it is the wisdom of the Shravakas. More subtle than that, because it has abandoned the conceptualization of grasping one side of the obscuration of knowledge, so the wisdom of the Pratyekabuddhas is the most subtle. Because it is distinguished by the sixteen aspects indicated by others, so the wisdom of the Shravakas is profound. More profound than that is only the cause of one's own realization.
