If he does not admit that there is a contradiction, then sometimes the contradiction raised is unreasonable. Because all sentient beings have not departed from the non-contradictory attention, therefore, it would be inferred that it is inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom. This is his thought. If attention is the same as the literal meaning, then this fault will occur, which is what is said: Shariputra, good, good! and so on. However, he clearly wants to express that non-attention itself is attention. To this, if one seeks fault merely because of the use of words, then you also have fault. etc., he said. Because the venerable Shariputra truly expressed in words the meaning of the characteristic of attention, and completely accepted only expressing the literal meaning, therefore, in such later statements, you will also be questioned in return. This shows that if the meaning of words is understood as the literal meaning, then the fault is the same. Furthermore, if attention is non-attention, and not the literal meaning, then why is there such a doubt? He asked this and said: Venerable Shariputra, sentient beings, etc. Sentient beings, that is, living beings, are without self-nature because they are similar to illusions. Therefore, since it is inseparable from it, attention is without self-nature. Sentient beings themselves do not exist, that is, sentient beings are without things. Sentient beings themselves are separated from non-birth, etc., that is, sentient beings are separated. Sentient beings are beyond thought, that is, sentient beings are inconceivable. Sentient beings have no discrimination, that is, sentient beings attain perfect enlightenment. Sentient beings are not real, they are false, this is attaining enlightenment, that is, sentient beings do not truly attain enlightenment. These six words should be understood in order as the four parts of the decisive division and the stages of the path of seeing and cultivation. Therefore, he concludes by saying with reason that non-attention is attention.

It is said for the purpose of this, that is, saying "Venerable Shariputra" and so on. The nature of the Bodhisattva is such that this mind-making with the nature just spoken of, and the abode of the characteristic of arising definitively by the path, which has the nature of the Perfection of Wisdom, wishes to abide in this, in order to enter without inversion. Therefore, in order to arise definitively in this way, from these things that are the basis, there is no other Dharma that is more excellent, because all Dharmas are without object, in order to arise definitively, these eight themselves are to be known as the proof of definitive arising. As it is said: Intentionally acting and equality, the benefit of sentient beings and effortless action, definitive arising beyond limits, definitive arising of the characteristic of attainment, all-knowingness and, definitive arising with the object of the path, these eight natures, are called the proof of definitive arising. Thus it is said. The chapter called "Acting in All-Knowingness" is because without omission, all things are completely known, so it is related to the Tathagata, as the practice that should be followed and realized, only this all-knowingness, with the nature of generating the mind and so on, through the door of the nature of cause and effect, is repeatedly proclaimed here, so this treatise is a chapter. From the explanation of the Perfection of Wisdom, in the light of the Ornament of Clear Realization, the chapter called "The Practice of All-Knowingness" is the first. Second Section: Expressing the Knowledge of the Aspects of the Path. The realization of all-knowingness is not possible without completely knowing the knowledge of the path, so the knowledge of the path is said to be "also at that time" and so on. "At that time" refers to the time of expounding the knowledge of the path. "Also" is connected to "again Indra abided." How is it? It is said that "the Lord of the Gods" is the master. As it is said, in the assembly that was spoken of, gathering closely, either without distraction of body and so on, or having prostrated well and abiding, that is, well on one's own seat.

They dwell there. The protectors of the world are Vaishravana, Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, and Virupaksha. The complete master of the realm of the Saha world is the lord of the Saha world, the chief among the gods. Some say that Brahma arises in the fourth dhyana, because of the rule that "destruction also occurs through fire, water, and wind, changing in three ways," the first three dhyanas are destroyed in order, so he considers himself to be permanent, and therefore says so. Others explain it differently. From the certainty of the gods of clear light, some beings die and are reborn in the empty palace of Brahma, alone, thinking, 'Alas, how wonderful if other beings were also born here!' Following his wish, other beings whose merit and so on are exhausted are born there like crows and palm trees, and considering themselves to be 'I am the lord here,' therefore it is said that the third level of the first dhyana is the Brahma of the Saha world. There, in order to ensure that those gathered as retinue can give rise to the path, the Tathagata, with the light of his own nature, makes the light born from the ripening of the gods and so on appear dim, like having impurities, this is done so that they know that realization only arises in the lineage that has subdued pride. Therefore, expressing the basis with a turn of phrase, it is said, 'Whatever light of the sons of gods,' etc., what is called 'born from the ripening of one's own karma' means that it necessarily arises from the habitual patterns of one's own virtuous actions. Light is the appearance of rays of light. The word 'also' includes the body and so on as well. Regarding 'the power of the Buddha' and so on, some say that power is a distinction of ability, splendor is the state of light, and blessing is intention. Others say that these three words, power and so on, are caused by the differences in the rays of light of the activities of body, speech, and mind. 'Subduing' means making it dim, becoming impure.
