In order to show the reliance on the ultimate truth from the basis, (the Buddha) said, "Furthermore, Shariputra, endowed with life," and so on. From all aspects, it is through valid means such as direct perception. "All" refers to the nature of pervasiveness and the other side. "All kinds" refers to the kinds known as sentient beings and life, and so on. Again, "in all places" refers to the nature of the agent itself, and so on, because it is devoid of the nature of one and many, how can it be selfless and non-existent? Therefore, it is invisible, and all phenomena are the same. Showing this is "thus" and so on. In relation to phenomena, "all" refers to the nature of its own characteristics, and so on. "All" refers to general characteristics, and so on. "All kinds" refers to the kinds of afflictions, and so on. "In all places" means in all kinds of places. Therefore, because there are no other kinds, one should universally act like a magical person, and one should contemplate how there can be fear of practicing austerities in this. Like this, abandoning the blame for the statement of no-birth and admitting it, is what Shariputra, endowed with life, expresses with "Whatever is said like this," and so on. "That is just as it is," should be understood as the ultimate truth. Saying that a Bodhisattva is unborn, will it become a one-sided emptiness? (The Buddha) said, "Furthermore, Subhuti, endowed with life, what about that?" and so on. The Dharma of a Bodhisattva is the Dharma that makes one a Bodhisattva, that is, the nature of the consciousness itself, and so on, in the form of the path. The Dharma of a Bodhisattva is also unborn, because it is the same in reasoning. Expressing this is "of a Bodhisattva" and so on. One should answer what is asked, otherwise the listener will become meaningless speech. Therefore, in order to answer the one-sided emptiness, from "Could it be that even omniscience itself," and so on, asking and answering from above and above, it is said that emptiness is the object of everything. Among them, omniscience itself is the Buddha himself. The Dharma that makes one a Buddha, the characteristic of all kinds of omniscience is all-knowing.

That is merely the Dharma of the (Buddha) himself. A child who has not generated the noble path is an ordinary being. The dharmas of ordinary beings are those related to desire and so on. In this way, gradually causing all dharmas to be acknowledged as unborn, and speaking to avoid faults and contradictions, is "Venerable Subhuti, if..." and so on. 'However' means unbearable, and 'whether omniscience is attained' is the remainder. Some texts say 'whether omniscience is attained effortlessly,' which is merely clarification. In this way, by respectfully, continuously, and for a long time meditating, when realizing the unborn, then the state of Buddhahood is attained. If all dharmas are only unborn, then at that time the wisdom of knowing all aspects is only effortlessly attained. If that were the case, all sentient beings would be liberated. If the unborn had something to be attained and an attainer, then at that time it would be reasonable to say 'attained effortlessly.' Because it is not so, thinking this, it is said: 'Venerable Shariputra, I do not wish to attain the unborn dharma,' and so on. With reason, one does not wish to grasp at the state of union of attaining the unborn dharma with faith and the attainer, and also does not wish to realize and comprehend in the actual stage of realization and comprehension. Saying that (meaning) is saying 'with the unborn dharma' and so on, because the dharma of the attainer, with the nature of the unborn dharma to be attained, the unborn will not be attained, because both are non-existent. If it is said that anything is attained by the unborn, then it is said: 'Venerable Subhuti, then what with the unborn dharma...' and so on. The word 'however' is used to indicate another aspect. Again, expressing the meaning of the answer in the manner of a question is 'Venerable Shariputra, then what...' and so on. Because birth is non-existent, is it said that the unborn dharma is born? If it is said so, then it depends on saying, because by calling it by another name, (it is actually) another entity.
