Because of not clinging, because for arising or ceasing, one cannot truly observe accordingly. Because other than arising and ceasing, there is no other existence, this is what is contemplated. If the self-nature is one, then is the object of non-arising and non-ceasing merely the object of form? Therefore, if one does not approach form, then what is this doubt for? This is welcomed with such a question. Then it is said, "It is like this," and so on. Because whatever is non-arising and non-ceasing, those are not form, because in conventional truth they appear like form. Among them, the phenomenon that exists only for a moment, the impermanent dharma, is cessation. By blocking it, there is no cessation, because in conventional truth it is diverse, therefore, non-arising and non-ceasing, and form, in ultimate truth abide in the nature of non-arising and non-ceasing, so they are non-dual. This is the same nature as non-arising and so on. Because it is indivisible, it is free from the valid cognition that makes it an entity of two. If that is so, then how is it established as form? It is said, "Anything," and so on. The so-called form is merely a name conventionally designated to express the non-duality of what is unreasonable as form, etc., and is a conventional designation. In order to show that the attainment of omniscience is not possible without realization, it is then declared that omniscience will definitely arise. The Blessed One said, "Thus," and so on. "Thus" should be connected with "all aspects." The Prajnaparamita refers to omniscience. The meaning of definite arising is the remainder. All dharmas are forms, etc. "All aspects" refers to aspects such as non-existence. This is the difference in action, that is, at the time of completely realizing all dharmas such as form. "At that time" refers to the time of direct realization. "Not approaching form" and so on, is for other occasions.

There is no fault of repetition because of repeating from 'fruit'. If so, then it is unreasonable to practice austerities etc. for the sake of sentient beings, and with this thought in mind, 'because of that' etc. are spoken. Because form etc. are unborn and unceasing etc., and are the very nature of non-duality, for that reason, it is said 'not to fixate on form' etc., I understand the meaning of what was said to be like this, bodhisattvas are also unborn, and this is also because of the nature of form etc. If it is admitted that it is so, in order to show the fault, 'if' etc. are spoken. The sound of 'what' is abandonment, it is synonymous with 'not practicing because of being unborn and unceasing'. Dividing by 'the benefit of sentient beings', those who are suffering, what pleasure is there in experiencing those, and for what? It is the thought of 'because there are no sentient beings etc.'. The venerable Shariputra and others are used to answer. Thinking like this: if bodhisattvas are also unborn, then in the ultimate sense, practicing austerities becomes not practicing, if this inference is established, then at that time, just because practicing is unreasonable, it is establishing what is already established. Or if it is like that in the conventional sense, then at that time, the bodhisattva is not unborn, because it appears to be born. Therefore, how can practice be contradictory? That's what I thought. It should also not be thought how to practice austerities in the conventional sense, what is said is 'with what kind of thought of austerities' etc. 'Practicing with the thought of austerities' here, 'to the difficult to practice' is the remainder. Isn't it only bodhisattvas who do difficult things like giving up their heads? How can there be no thought of austerities? In order to dispel this doubt, 'why is that' is used to welcome, and 'Venerable Shariputra' etc. are spoken. Because if the thought of austerities arises, the benefit of sentient beings cannot be done,

Because the correct conduct is not complete. Therefore, if one practices giving and so on with the notion of difficulty, then one does not benefit sentient beings, and therefore one thinks that one will not become a Bodhisattva. So how can one be able to do it? However, it is said that one should have the notion of ease and happiness. Because there is no miserliness and so on towards giving and so on, the notion of ease is the notion of happiness. Similarly, one should generate the notion of mother and so on for all sentient beings in general, or in particular, for men and women, according to their age, one should regard them as mother and so on as appropriate, and when one practices the conduct of a Bodhisattva, then one thinks that one will be able to do what is beneficial. In order to gather that itself, therefore it is said "therefore" and so on. The word "also" in the middle gathers the notion of brothers and sisters for men and women of equal age. How should one generate the notion of oneself? It is said "How oneself" and so on. By generating pride in oneself, one's own continuum is oneself. One should be liberated from all suffering and should eliminate it, that is, one should be liberated from the suffering of actions and so on and should eliminate it. In other ways also it is said "oneself also for all sentient beings" and so on, the meaning of not completely abandoning is with the thought and union of great compassion. The meaning of liberation is to accomplish such a thing. When? It is said "one's own body" and so on. Even if one's own body is cut into a hundred pieces, those should also be applied to the task with effort. Otherwise, what would be so special? When one is small is the last time. Not generating harmful thoughts is not being angry. Concluding that itself, it is said "like that" and so on. Like that is like the mind that was just spoken of. Conduct is giving and so on. Abiding is for the four postures. Like that, with conduct based on convention, there is no notion of difficulty.
