The reason for asking about the sake of action is what the Blessed One said, such as "It is so." The previously stated reason, like that, having put on great armor, is that one will truly enter the Mahayana. Regarding what was said, because one does not understand the Mahayana, the union of wisdom and compassion, and the two not contradicting each other, transcending the opposing aspects, and the situation being definite, and being very familiar with the union of the opposing aspects, and from the perspective of the realized one, in any case, which one will definitely arise from above, is "What is it?" etc., showing six questions, which is what the noble Vimoksha group said. In order to show the collection of skillful means etc., the answer to the first question is, Subhuti, "Mahayana" etc. is what was said, as the noble Lankavatara Sutra says: Five dharmas and self-nature, The very nature of the eight consciousnesses, In the objects of the two selflessnesses, All Mahayana is included. Although it is said like this, in the context of the collection, the collection of the nature of skillful means etc. by the power of the collection, for the immeasurable, the term "Mahayana" is mainly established. Furthermore, how is the collection of skillful means etc. immeasurable? It is said, "This is because there is no measure," etc. The very object as described, because it is not completely measured by direct perception etc., it cannot be measured. Thus it shows that having the collection of the path of union, because it has a mind that is fully in accordance with all-knowingness, it is a collection of skillful means for the sake of doing the work of sentient beings. Knowing the collection of skillful means, because it is learning wisdom, it is a collection of wisdom. That also needs to be understood as twenty kinds by the distinctions of inner emptiness etc. The twenty kinds of emptiness are these, for example, the nature of the internal objects, eyes etc., because they are truly existent and not destructible, is inner emptiness. The nature of the external forms etc. is also like that, so it is outer emptiness. Inner and outer

Because the nature of my self-possessing birthplaces is such, the emptiness of inner and outer. Among them, the inner birthplaces are those that are included by the nature of the senses. The outer is that which is included by the nature of the object. The inner and outer are those that are included by the support of the senses. That is inner because it is grasped by the mind; it is also outer because it is not included by the senses. These three emptinesses are on the stage of aspiring conduct. Because all dharmas are emptiness, and because the emptiness of the nature of wisdom that focuses on inner emptiness, etc., is also emptiness, it is the emptiness of emptiness. Merely knowing all dharmas to be empty is all dharmas being empty, and it is also the emptiness of emptiness, because it abandons the conceptual thought that clings there. This is on the path of joining. The ten directions are great emptiness because they are empty of directions, because they are large in shape. This is in the first stage because of the meaning of all-pervading. Ultimate nirvana is ultimate emptiness because it is empty of the nature of the meaning of nirvana, because it is merely separation. This is in the second stage because of the supreme meaning. Conditioned phenomena, the three realms, are conditioned emptiness because they are empty of the desire realm, etc., because they are capable of being the antidote because of their unfulfilled nature. This is in the third stage because of the excellence of the meaning of the similar cause. Unconditioned phenomena, without birth, without cessation, and without changing from abiding, are unconditioned emptiness because they are empty of themselves, because there is no birth, etc., due to the reason for the imputation of no birth, etc., with incompatible antidotes. This is in the fourth stage because of the meaning of non-grasping. The limit is the emptiness of the limit, so it is the emptiness of transcendence because it transcends the limit. The limit is a part, and in the middle of the two extremes of annihilation and permanence, by what reason does it cut off those parts, its own
