Having welcomed with the doubt of "How could it be without clinging?", the Blessed One spoke of "Subhuti, the nature of illusion" and so on. For example, the nature of illusion is true as it appears, but it is not true because it is unreasonable. Therefore, it is refuted by the application of reason, and everything in the world belongs only to appearance, just as it is taken and adopted as an example. Likewise, the nature of forms and other phenomena is such because it is thoroughly examined in dependence on the distinction from different objects, so there is no contradiction in nature between clinging and non-clinging, because it is changing. If one understands two dharmas in dependence on the distinction on one object, then it becomes a mistake, that is his intention. These two are spoken in order to eliminate the perversion to each other, but not to show the only truth, as it was said before. This shows the collection of tranquility. For those who have attained tranquility, insight arises, so the collection of insight is: "Subhuti, for example" and so on. The wise one is the clever one. The attendant of the illusionist is his student. The mention of "the crossroads of the great road" is because it is the main place of illusion transformation. The great crowd of people is the collection of sentient beings. "Manifest transformation" means to transform. "If it is made invisible" means to gather it up. "What do you think" means, what do you think and understand about the collection of meanings that were just spoken? After asking a general question, he said, "Or do you think this way?", that is, "For it, any dharma" and so on. "For it" means from within that crowd of people. "Who" means the illusionist and so on. "Any" means Devadatta and so on. "Killed" means by means of cutting off life. "Dead" means completely cut off. "Destroyed" means by means of incomplete limbs. "Made invisible" means made invisible. The word "is" is used for that kind of meaning, and the word "holy" is for existence. Thinking this way, if that is the only truth, then because there is no phenomenon, all these are

It is not like that. It should be thought that what is seen is existence itself. Because of understanding this meaning, it is asked, "The Bhagavan does not exist." Then the phrase "just like that" is the remainder. In order to fully establish the meaning of the example, in order to manifest things upon the desired meaning, therefore it is said, "Subhuti, just like that," and so on. In order to briefly gather the vast teachings, therefore it is said, "If," and so on. The so-called "like this" refers to what has just passed. "Like this" means not exceeding the truths of conventional and ultimate reality. The so-called "by how much" means that in response to what is said, it is said "by these." This is saying, showing that even if one only possesses these collections such as compassion, it is called wearing great armor. If one focuses on emptiness with vipassana, one will fall into the Bodhi of the Shravakas and so on, so the collection immediately related to this is: Alas, how did the Bhagavan say, and so on. Alas, this sound is clinging. The so-called "How did the Bhagavan say" means, if one clings to the illusory nature of phenomena, and so on. Thinking, the Bhagavan said that the nature of all phenomena is like this, therefore, in what way did he proclaim the form of pervasive illusory nature, in what way can I understand its meaning? Therefore, thinking that because it does not exceed the illusory nature of phenomena, that Bodhisattva Mahasattva has put on the armor of no armor. In order to promise in a non-inverted way, therefore it is said, "Subhuti, it is just like that," and so on. With vipassana and all-knowingness, and the samadhi of Akashagarbha and so on, is it not wearing armor in order to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings? Why would one think that there is no armor? In order to welcome this doubt, therefore, it is answered with "Subhuti," and so on. The so-called "uncreated" means that because there is no cause of creation by wisdom. The so-called "untransformed" means that because there is no cause of destruction. Manifestly uncreated.
