Not arising in this earthly affliction is the samadhi without affliction. As it is said to be supreme among those who abide therein, it shows the nature of no-mind, so the word "therefore" is transformed and connected. Saying "Excellent, excellent" is repeating twice due to wonder. If it is said that even with the power of the Buddha, combined with skillful means, is it not the exposition of the Prajnaparamita? Why is it that even though Shariputra can be called skillful, what is the special excellence of giving the word "Excellent" to the noble Subhuti? Although it is said that there is none, is it for the sake of benefiting those who are to be tamed by showing the greatness of self-nature? For the sake of dispelling the doubts of future disciples. By the blessing of the Tathagata, there is no fault in saying "Excellent" before the absence of dispute. When showing the great self-nature of no-mind, even if some are of uncertain lineage, yet because of their sharp faculties, at the time when they are in accordance with the aspect of definite discernment, they are determined to be irreversible by inconceivable differences in means, as it is said, that is, "therefore" and so on. For what reason, that Bodhicitta does not make pride, so it exists in the form of non-manifestation of attachment and so on. Also, the word "again" is for examining the nature of impermanence and so on, because it is related to things, it should be known that it is the meaning to be determined. In the eighth bhumi, it is established that everything is definitely irreversible, so there is no fault. Because of being endowed with complete non-degradation, it should be known that it is inseparable from the Prajnaparamita of the nature that is in accordance with the aspect of definite discernment. Also, the word "again" is not only for observing irreversibility. Thus, after describing the object and the aspect, in order to show the difference of the cause of the small part of warmth, it is said "in the Hearer's ground" and so on. The wisdom itself that obtains the state of special wisdom is the ground. Those who wish to study it, that is, those who wish to practice it. The meaning of "this itself" is mainly to show the supreme that is in accordance with the aspect of definite discernment, that is, the consciousness of consciousness and so on.

One should listen, as the mind-consciousness that leads the way completely cuts off the scriptures and their meanings. One should hold onto it, through the mental activity of thinking nature. One should cut it off, having perfected it through the practice of meditative nature. One should read, since one reads the texts after making a vow. One should fully understand everything through scriptural authority and realization. One should thoroughly explain, as one thoroughly shows others through explanations and so on. One should train, since the mind of connection and conclusion is complete in all listening and so on. One should also equally abide in the main mind, therefore one should do yoga. As it is said, "endowed with skillful means": "The Buddhas' dharmas are perfected, sentient beings are fully matured, the quickly attainable is accomplished, skillful in not cutting off the path, all the bodhisattva grounds, the means are unequaled, relying on those means, one accomplishes all of that." As it is said, quickly and completely attaining the meaning of what was said. The distinction of mind that relies on conventional truth and ultimate truth is the means, and possessing that is possessing skillful means. In order to attain all the dharmas of a bodhisattva, the dharmas unique to bodhisattvas, not shared with shravakas and so on, which is the nature of knowing the path, in order to attain that nature, in order to fully accomplish it, one should do yoga, that is, one should practice the samadhi called yoga. In some places, it is read as "in order to attain all the dharmas of the Buddhas." That is not reasonable, because "all the dharmas of the bodhisattva are vast" and so on will be stated immediately after. If someone doubts, "In the Shravaka vehicle, aren't the bodhisattva's dharmas of giving and so on also taught?" In order to dispel this doubt, it is said, "Why is that?" The answer is, "In this very Prajnaparamita" and so on. "Where" refers to "on which dharma of the bodhisattva." Thinking, "The dharmas of the Shravakas and so on are extensively taught in their respective collections, while the dharmas of the bodhisattva are only mentioned in passing. But here, the dharmas of the bodhisattva themselves are extensively taught, while the dharmas of the Shravakas are only mentioned in passing," one thinks in this way.
