From the appearance of the "Commentary on the Perfection of Wisdom, Ornament of Realization," this is called the chapter on the activities of demons, the twenty-first. The ninth sign itself is shown by what the Bhagavan said, beginning with "Then again, the Bhagavan..." In that, "the six perfections are the display" means that in the stage of fruition, the six perfections are the display. Because it is the path of realization and the first correct display, in the stage of obtaining appearance, it is the path. Because it is the nature of surpassing appearance, in the stage of increasing appearance, it is appearance. Because it enters one side of suchness, which is without grasping and clinging, in the stage of pervading one side of suchness, it is the lamp. Because the non-obstructed wisdom of suchness is born, in the stage of non-obstructed samadhi, it is light. Because all harm is averted, on the first ground, it is protection. At that time, because thought and action are meaningful and abide on the ground, on the second ground, it is refuge. Because it is the basis of faultless joy, on the third ground, it is the place. Because it abides on the basis of going to the supreme of the noble ones, on the fourth ground, it is a friend. Because it is completely cut off from the three realms, on the fifth ground, it is an island. Because it is the nature of the perfection of wisdom, on the ninth ground, it abides for realization. Because it especially practices the perfection of wisdom, on the tenth ground, it will abide in order to obtain unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, which is the distinction of meaning. The cause of non-regression, the antidote to attachment to enjoyment and home, in that order, are the perfections of generosity and discipline. The antidote to the suffering born from the wrong actions of sentient beings in samsara, and to the weariness of long-term engagement in virtuous activities, in that order, are the perfections of patience and diligence. The cause of waste, the antidote to non-distraction and scattered wisdom, in that order, are the perfections of meditation and wisdom.

Therefore, the six numbers are established by distinguishing between unfavorable and favorable factors. Likewise, the cause of distraction is the perfection of one, and based on what is not distracted, in order to realize the suchness of phenomena as they are, the Buddha's teachings are perfectly accomplished. Thus, it is established as a number in the basis of the perfect accomplishment of all the Buddha's teachings. Similarly, by the perfection of generosity, beings are benefited, by the perfection of ethics, harm is not done, by the perfection of patience, harm is endured, by the perfection of diligence, actions are done and guided, making beings fit to be ripened, and by the perfection of meditation, those whose minds are distracted are calmed. By the perfection of wisdom, from calmness, for the sake of liberation, one becomes perfect from the instructions. Thus, from ripening beings and according with them, one should also observe the establishment of this number in this way. Likewise, why is that? After welcoming the question, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti! The Perfection of Wisdom is," and so on. To clarify the meaning of the virtuous friend, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti! In the past time," and so on. As before, why is that? After welcoming the question, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti! Perfection," and so on. The phrase "How many are the Buddha's teachings?" is said to be eight sentences, such as "Buddha's wisdom," because it is distinguished by the order of the eight realizations, such as all-knowingness. In summary, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti! Therefore," and so on. Tenth, regarding the meaning of the sign of learning in all kinds of Perfection of Wisdom, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti! Those who wish to learn these fierce perfections," and so on. Likewise, why is that? After welcoming the necessity, the Blessed One said, "This Perfection of Wisdom is," and so on.

English

Therefore, since it is the method of obtaining the paths of seeing, meditation, superiority, and non-learning, it is guided in order, etc., four words are spoken. First is arising. Later, it makes it fully grow, so it is "Mama". Like before, why? After raising this question, it is said that if separated from Prajnaparamita, etc. The eleventh is the meaning of the sign of non-attachment to everything, which is the request of the Blessed One, etc. The characteristic of non-attachment is the nature of non-attachment. Because it is only accepting the words, the Blessed One, what is the characteristic of non-attachment, etc. Because the reasoning is the same, Subhuti, it is so, etc. Similarly, why? After raising this question, Subhuti, all dharmas, etc. Because that is the nature of being separated from the nature of cause and effect, so in order it is tranquility and emptiness, some say so. If it is emptiness, then there will be no defilement and purification, so the request is Blessed One, if, etc. If that dharma is observable, it is thought because it is emptiness. The meaning of this explanation is that because there should not be defilement, etc., it is the meaning of saying tranquility and emptiness. The meaning of answering for asking again is Subhuti, what do you think, etc. Defilement and purification are completely known, it is said that even if all dharmas are emptiness, but in the mundane, karma and fruit are related, so how attachment, how defilement, how no attachment, how manifestation and knowing purification. The twelfth is the meaning of the sign of approaching the Bodhi of the Buddha, which is the saying of the Blessed One, Bodhisattva Mahasattva acts like that, etc. Similarly, what is that
