It is prevented by (cessation, Devanagari: uccheda, Romanized Sanskrit: uccheda, literal meaning: cessation). Nirvana is attained by being without characteristics, peaceful, and abiding in bliss. Because of being the nature of not producing suffering in this very life, it is called detachment. Thus, it should be expressed by the distinctions of meanings such as emptiness, according to some. It should be understood that all these words indicate the nature of the Dharmadhatu by way of reverse distinctions. In order to show that those profound things such as emptiness are also free from the two extremes of superimposition and denial, the question is asked separately, which is the request to the Bhagavan and others. The "what" after the Bhagavan is the remainder. In order to show the meaning of the answer, "Subhuti, this is" etc. are spoken. Similarly, after welcoming the doubt of "Why is that?", "Subhuti, form is" etc. are spoken. The reason for asking "Why is this?" is that "Subhuti, how is form deep?" etc. are spoken. The answer is that "Subhuti, as is the reality, so is form deep" etc. are spoken, meaning that just as emptiness is deep, so also form etc. are unborn in the ultimate truth, which is a synonym. This also prevents the extreme of superimposition, which is the belief that form etc. exist in reality. The saying "As is the reality of form, so is form deep" is as it is said, "Whatever is dependent arising, you consider that to be empty." It means that the reality of form itself, if form etc. are not nominally posited in conventional truth, is delightful. This also avoids the extreme of denial, which is the refutation of the view that reality is different from form etc. The summary is that "Subhuti, where there is no form" etc. are spoken. By the words "even to", it should be understood that attachment is prevented and non-attachment is accomplished. "By subtle means" means in a fearless manner. "Also turning away from form and also showing Nirvana" means that because form etc. are prevented in reality, therefore…

Entering into form, etc., it is averted for the purpose of eliminating. Just that, becoming accustomed to emptiness, it is also said to be transcendence of suffering. The summarized meaning of this is: in emptiness, etc., there is no form, etc., and emptiness, etc., is not other than that, thus, in sequence, whatever is liberated from the extremes of superimposition and denigration, that is the profoundness of emptiness, etc. Thus, emptiness, etc., does not exist, and because emptiness, etc., possesses profoundness, therefore the path of meditation is profound. How wonderful! Because one thing simultaneously expresses two meanings, it is amazing. Thus it is said: The path of meditation is profound, profound is emptiness, etc., profound is liberation from the extremes of superimposition and denigration. Having thus shown the distinction, the path of meditation itself, which possesses distinction, is taught, namely, the Perfection of Wisdom of the Well-Gone One, etc. To become thought, is through the wisdom of the nature of hearing. To become measured, is through the nature of thinking. To become definitely realized, is through the nature of meditation. Or, connect in sequence with the wisdom arising from the preliminary practice, the actual practice, and the subsequent practice of samadhi. Again, if asked, from what source does the path of meditation come? It is said, "I," etc. Regarding this, I, from the Perfection of Wisdom, making the empowerment in accordance with the aspect of ascertainment, should abide as it is thought. Similarly, I, from the Perfection of Wisdom, making the empowerment of the path of seeing, should learn as it is now taught. I, from the Perfection of Wisdom, making the empowerment of the path of meditation, should accomplish as it is truly shown. Thus it should be said: The aspect of ascertainment and the path of seeing, as well as the path of meditation itself, repeatedly think, measure, and definitely realize the path of meditation. Thus it is said. Therefore, in the empowerment of the four parts of the aspect of ascertainment and the paths of seeing and meditation.

Having done that, those who accomplish in that way. In that way, to contemplate closely, in that way, to understand closely, in that way, to combine thoroughly, in that way, to strive, in that way, to make effort, thus six words are spoken. How is the object of that very path of meditation? It is continuous in nature, therefore the former is the latter, and because it is the object of the latter, there is no fault. The meaning of the benefit of the path of meditation is asked, saying "That Bodhisattva Mahasattva," etc. If any Bodhisattva is joined to a being, etc., and even for one day engages in yoga in this path of meditation, how much merit will that one day produce? That is the question. The meaning of the answer is "Subhuti, it is like this," etc., which is said because the one who engages in desire increases attachment even to an inferior object. The one who engages in discrimination does so because there is much discrimination of desire. "A woman with a good and beautiful form" means that the whole and parts of the body are beautiful, so arrange them in order. "Pleasing to look at" means that seeing it brings joy. "Having made an appointment" means that you come to such and such a place, thus making an appointment. Some say that "without power" refers to what has not been obtained. Others say that it refers to what has not been seen. "In the beginning, middle, and end, the joy of wanting to manifest oneself, and the actions in accordance with it, will be completed." Thinking this, examine it in order. Act happily in this way. Play in this way, and since it is said that one acts as one wishes in all places, combine it with "examine in this way." "That many" means how many are the number of discriminations of a person who engages in desire? That is its synonym. "Turning away" means because it suppresses. "Bringing to the limit" means that it does not produce what was not produced before, thus it separates from the continuum of birth in samsara. In this way, completely hold all the immeasurable roots of virtue.
