It is said that it is for the sake of knowing in the future. Others say that for the aggregates and so on, the initial manifest clinging is called "union," and the manifest clinging that arises later is called "subsequent union." For the aspects that eliminate the incompatible and obstruct realization, the Dharma, by separately preventing dwelling in the verbal union and subsequent union, therefore, for cessation, it is knowledge of the Dharma. These are said to be the words of those who delight in noise and so on. Speaking words is because the conceptualization of things is already clear at the time of the knowledge of suffering and origin. Knowledge of cessation is the antidote to the conceptualization of mere words. This is to show this. Under the control of such a state, it is said: "All these are merely names, merely dwelling in consciousness, there is nothing to be expressed." Fully understanding the faults of conceptualization, becoming a collection of enlightenment, separately preventing dwelling in giving and subsequent union, therefore, for cessation, it is subsequent knowledge of forbearance. These are said to be the words of the army and so on. Among them, the army is the collection of the Dharma of enlightenment. This shows that in the state of knowledge of cessation, it is close to many correctly accomplished things. Likewise, in the Twenty-five Thousand Verses, it is said: "Because it dwells in emptiness by its own nature, it will not correctly see any Dharma, whether small or large." This is the view of some. Because what is to be grasped and what can be grasped should be abandoned, therefore, for the incompatible and antidotal aspects, preventing dwelling in the verbal union and subsequent union of killing and the killer fighting, therefore, for cessation, it is subsequent knowledge. These are said to be the words of battle and so on. In such a state, cessation that matures by its own nature will become four types. Just like this, preventing the village of the senses is the first type. Similarly, preventing the city formed from the basis of the senses and arising is the second type. Similarly, preventing the towns of the realm of the senses is the third type, that is, what is said about villages and so on.

Therefore, it is so. Regions and so on are classifications of cities. To cut off the manifest clinging to self, the fourth is to speak of "with my words" and so on. Only in me, with the association of mine, the meaning of extreme alienation is to speak of "great minister" and so on. Know that the four ways of cutting off the ripening are each included in the three realms. Among them, in the desire realm and the form realm, there is the cutting off of the senses, the support, and the object, which is very famous. Even in the formless realm, there are the three senses of equanimity, life, and mind, so it is the cutting off of the senses. Even in the formless realm, there are the three senses of equanimity, life, and mind, so the support of the senses is the cutting off of the senses. "In the same kind and life, here, the continuum of mind is the support." Therefore, it is the cutting off of the support of the senses. Because there is the object of mind, the Dharma, there is the cutting off of the object of the senses. Since the manifest clinging to self exists in everything, it is reasonable to cut it off. By knowing the differences of giving and so on, with stinginess and immoral precepts and so on, by dwelling in the place of practice and subsequent practice, it is called the forbearance of knowing the Dharma. The so-called "words contrary to the Dharma" and so on, is to say that cutting off words contrary to the Dharma, because it is the immediate path, forbearance is the cause of being free from afflictions. Fighting is the action of body and speech. Revealing faults is the action of body, speech, and mind that is incompatible. Contention and liberation have been described. Desiring the Dharma is because it follows the virtuous Dharma. The Dharma of accomplishment and fruit is conditioned and unconditioned, so as said in order, with abandoning and taking, speaking words of non-discrimination. Desiring to obtain an extremely superior position, one desires to be friendly. By proclaiming the Dharma of the Hearers and so on, and the uncommon Dharma, one speaks the Dharma. Having obtained the freedom of birth, one is born there. In order to clarify the forbearance spoken of in this way, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, furthermore," and so on, the so-called wise one.
