It abandons the divisions of phenomena established by mutually contradictory tenets, and enters based on the subject known among children, and the reason and example related to it are similarly established. Otherwise, if it becomes a reason or subject or example based on tenets, then at that time, the subject distinguished by the difference known in one tenet, because it is the basis of dispute, is not established for others. In this way, since the subject with distinctions is not established, it becomes a reason with an unestablished basis. Similarly, since one's own nature is not established, its subject is also not established. Because from smoke and existence, etc., one cannot know fire and impermanence, etc., all the terms of what should be established and what establishes will be cut off. Because some of the mere cognitions, etc., that are contrary to the nature of not being consciousness, etc., are established, therefore this is so. Like this, for one who relies on the appearing subject and applies the establisher in order to refute the imputed aspects, one cannot find fault with the unestablished basis, etc. But you are preventing the very appearing subject, so how can you not find fault with the unestablished basis, etc.? It is not like that, because in this way, by distinguishing it as ultimate, for this appearing subject, the imputed nature of being truly existent is what should be established, but not the prevention of the subject's own nature, so it is the same. However, if the nature of the ultimate is prevented, then what else remains that appears as the nature of that subject? If you want to say that, that is not correct either. Because the appearance of the nature of the ultimate, which would be reversed if it were reversed, is not pervasive, because false things like double moons and hair, etc., also appear. It is said that if double moons, etc., are false in the nature of external objects, but in the nature of knowledge, they are ultimate, so it is reasonable that they appear, but it cannot be said that, because they are of various natures.
