It is only manifest as direct perception. For example, when focusing on a place devoid of a pot, it is like understanding the absence of the pot, which becomes its very nature. Otherwise, one would deviate from the non-difference of establishment and bliss, and even then, things would not become devoid of inherent existence, because there is no connection with inherent non-existence itself. Nor is it a relationship of characteristics arising from it, because that cannot be the result of the absence of things themselves. Therefore, That is not directly realized by children, so it is harmed by direct perception. Similarly, non-perception, which has become the characteristic of the object, is only non-existence because, like a pot, inherent non-existence can be termed as non-existence, so it is harmed by inference. If it is said that, just as the moon with a rabbit is not the moon itself, even cowherds and others do not realize inherent non-existence, so harm by fame is also difficult to refute, that is not true, because in this way, being devoid of the imputed form of things is called inherent non-existence, and that is also held by grasping the self-nature of things, but, like a moment, due to confusion, because it is the nature obscured by being imputed as the mode of true arising, therefore children cannot ascertain it, and since certainty has not arisen, therefore, since there is no direct perception itself, it is not harmed by direct perception. Similarly, even if it is grasped, since it cannot be named, it is the same as not being grasped, so this is not what has become the characteristic of the object, therefore it is not harmed by inference. Since it is distinguished by being called ultimate, it is not a denial of things that appear in name, so there is also no harm by fame, if that is so, what is this? It should not be said that there is no seed due to confusion, so what is that imputed mode, because what connection is there between the confusion of truth and falsehood? For the moment it is not its nature, because truth and falsehood are contradictory. Nor does it arise from it, because falsehood is not a result.

Therefore. Therefore, the proximate cause of this is only the previous conventional truth, so there is no contradiction. The cause of that cause is also only the previous conventional truth. Since such a causal continuum is beginningless, there is no error of not having a proximate cause. How is it determined separately? Just like the nature of a truly existent thing, this is also the nature of conventional truth. What is it that, from another cause of conventional truth, can produce the conventionally existent result of separate determination? If so, how is it conventional? Because a thing that can perform a function is something that cannot withstand the accumulation of various analyses, it is called conventional. Thus, truth and untruth pervade all things. Since they are also characterized by mutually excluding each other, when the nature of truth is negated, one necessarily obtains the state of abiding in the other. Therefore, this nature is made by all things with their own self, so there is no fault. Since the desired meaning is not accomplished without reasoning, in order to establish that all phenomena are without substance, one who upholds reasoning has already acknowledged that it exists. One who vows that all phenomena are without inherent existence has vowed that they are non-existent, and since this is mutually contradictory, it is like declaring one's own mother to be a prostitute, which contradicts one's own words. Thus, since acting on oneself is contradictory, reasoning is not the non-substantiality of itself, nor is it of others. If you say that it would lead to an infinite regress, it is not so, because non-inherent existence also comes from that, and there is no contradiction in acting on oneself, because the answer has already been given, and so on. Thus, although it is without inherent existence, in conventional truth, since the relationship of cause and effect can be established, and since it does not contradict the scriptures, one should not think that it is contradictory. However, if one thinks that for those who speak of non-existence, since all things are non-existent, it is difficult to avoid faults such as the unestablished basis, this is not true. Thus, all terms of inference and what is to be inferred
