If the power of delusion arising from experience causes the knowing consciousness to also become uncertain, then at what time, when it is neither inside nor outside, who experiences non-duality, and also becomes uncertain, what is deceived by experience? However, whatever constantly shows false appearances, that is the nature of delusion. Therefore, if it is thought that even the formless is known by the power of delusion, that is also not correct. Because, the word 'delusion' refers to the state of consciousness in which the habit of arising delusion is the cause, or the deluded consciousness arising from such a habit is the nature of the result. For the former, since the cause and the appearances are not related, it is unreasonable to experience them by its power, because it would be too extreme. If it is said that there is a connection of characteristics arising from it, that is also unreasonable, because it would be too extreme to become other-dependent, as before. However, if it is the latter, then for it, if the appearances are related, it will become the characteristic of its own nature, but not the characteristic arising from it, because it is experienced simultaneously with it. And, simultaneous things cannot be the nature of cause and effect. Therefore, in order to prevent it from being too extreme to become other-dependent because it is inseparable from the nature of delusion,

Do you admit that there are habitual tendencies, or not? These are two inferences. If you admit that there are habitual tendencies, then the habitual tendency of clinging to inverted appearances is itself awareness. That habitual tendency is also called capacity. Capacity also transforms into the nature of the causal consciousness. Therefore, from the previous consciousness of the nature of ignorance that is the cause, the consequence of clinging to inverted appearances arises, and due to the power of ignorance, it is reasonable that it appears in this way, so multiplicity necessarily arises. It should also not be said that the similar immediately preceding cause is not necessary, because the consciousness itself, as described above, is the similar immediately preceding cause, so this is certain. Or, if it is thought that the capacities of the nature of habitual tendencies there are different, that is not correct, because in reality, multiple capacities are not different, and similar to the nature of capacity, it would simultaneously become multiple different consciousnesses, and the fault of that has already been stated. Or, similarly, not being different from one consciousness, the capacity is the same as the self-nature of consciousness, and becoming one itself is difficult to avoid, so how would it become a difference of immediately preceding causes? Or, if it is not admitted that there are habitual tendencies, as desired in the second case, then the inference that all sentient beings would effortlessly attain liberation, etc., is unavoidable. Or, the consciousness of each ordinary person

If you think like that, that is also wrong. Like this, if there is no connection with blue etc., then how can you recognize blue etc. at that time? By what can you distinguish it from its own nature? For the immovable knowledge, there is no other difference in grasping the object, because that would be too extreme. However, if one recognizes that knowledge arises as being the same as its own nature, as if it has a function, then it is said that that is the difference in grasping its object, but for that point, the fault has already been stated. If you say that blue etc. do not exist in any case, that is not the case. Like this, if blue etc. do not exist outside or inside, then how can you say that in the mind without discrimination, this is experienced very clearly? It cannot be said that it is merely non-appearance, because that appearance has been proven to be experienced by everyone. If someone says that it is the nature of the ignorant who determines it in this way, then the clear appearance is also not suitable as an object of discrimination. However, even if that is the case, if you think that it is determined by discrimination, that is not good, because if all knowledge is only experienced as having no image, then the discrimination that arises after that should also be more attached to separately determining the images of blue etc., because there is no connection. If you say that this is like the nature of illusion, then for this point, it has already been said that it would be too extreme to be controlled by others, how can you say that illusion is related to this? Therefore, because there is no connection, the non-existence of blue etc., even as an object of discrimination, is not suitable for experience, so this is not reasonable. If it is not like that, then at the time of complete impurity, the knowledge that exists and appears in various ways is only false, but at the time of complete purity, because it is free from illusion, it will become the nature of non-duality, the only one, if you say that, then, if you say that at the time of impurity, because it is free from illusion, it will become the nature of non-duality, the only one, if you say that.
