It is. It starts with "then" and so on. The so-called "thinking like this" refers to the arising of conceptualization that will be explained below. Expressing that itself starts with "what" and so on. The word "what" is conceptualization. The so-called "self" refers to being related to oneself. That object, on that, is not done by that's other, but one's own, that is, done by oneself. Wisdom is the characteristic of distinguishing dharmas. Eloquence is speaking contrary to reason. The power of those two is unobstructed ability. Generation means doing what was not there before. Expressing from other aspects is "one's own," and here too, "one's own" should be seen. The power of wisdom's eloquence resides in, becoming special through blessings, thereby being able to show. The word "or" is the meaning of indicating other aspects, the so-called "or through the power of the Buddha," is thinking like this: the specialty of the method is inconceivable, did this person realize a wisdom that was not there before? Or did he make what was there before excellent? He obtained the blessings of the Tathagata Buddha. Otherwise, even the great venerable Kashyapa, like me, would not be able to do it. Abiding in the most excellent of those who are without afflictions, because of having special excellence, therefore being able to show, one cannot say that either, because I am also the most excellent of those who possess wisdom, having specialty, therefore being able to speak. The action of the samadhi without afflictions is not in showing, this is the thought of the noble Shariputra. Although being skilled in expedient means is inconceivable and possible, but because of dull faculties, one cannot immediately generate wisdom that was not there before, etc., therefore showing the later conceptualization, so he said "then" and so on. If the Shravakas focus on the minds of others, they can know the minds of others, otherwise they cannot, so the phrase "through the power of the Buddha" is used to express knowing without abandoning the mind. Such a reason is the nature of the three conceptualizations as previously explained, that is, mind or

It is the expression of mind that is completely sought through wisdom. That is, because the mind is coarse, it is discrimination. That which is called "that" is what has just been said. In the conventional sense, knowing with the mind that follows it, it will be explained, thus it is said. That which is said is the venerable Shariputra and so on. What is meant by "what" is: Sutra, chanting, prophecy, Verses, self-utterance, enlightened speech, Thus occurred and story, Very extensive Jataka, Determination, rare speech, Thus twelve branches. That's what it means. Among them, "speaker" refers to one who, arising from the knowledge of the nature of hearing, pronounces for the sake of complete liberation. "Shower" refers to one who, arising from the knowledge of the nature of thinking, explains the meaning for the sake of complete maturation. "Near shower" refers to one who, arising from the knowledge of the nature of meditation, thoroughly shows by generating certainty about the scriptures and meanings for the sake of complete liberation. Therefore, the three words such as "thus said" and so on are explanations of saying and so on in order. The power of a person is blessing, and because it is its cause, after closely examining everything such as speaking, it is explained by the name of the power of a person. Haven't the Shravakas directly seen the Dharma nature they have realized themselves? Why don't they do everything such as speaking with their own ability? To dispel this doubt, they ask themselves: Why is that? Some say that if it is done by others, it will become a fault such as displeasure. Others say that it is to avoid the fault of interruption that follows, to benefit those who cannot ask due to fear, and to avoid the fault of distraction that occurs when those who are single-minded retreat from linguistic behavior. What Dharma did the Tathagata teach, etc., is the answer. The Dharma shown through the gate of realization, which is in accordance with the part of discernment.
