The meaning of desire itself is what is said about the expounder of the Dharma, and so on. That is, not wanting to give means that the listener of the Dharma does not want to give wealth. As for the meaning of going to a place that will become an obstacle to life and will not become an obstacle to life, it is what is said about where there is famine, non-achievement, and unhappiness, and so on. Famine means that it is difficult to beg because food is scarce. The meaning of non-achievement and unhappiness is that obtaining what is desired is achievement. Absence of harm is happiness, and the absence of both is non-achievement and unhappiness. Becoming an obstacle to life means causing the senses to cease. To know that in that direction it will become an obstacle to life is to especially go in the direction without interruption, which is the remainder, the fourth ten. As for the meaning of going and not going to a place where famine occurs, it is what is said about the expounder of the Dharma to those sons of good family, and so on. If means one in a hundred. Not approaching means not following. As for the meaning of going and not going to a place disturbed by thieves, etc., it is what is said, "Subhuti, furthermore," and so on. Among them, sentient beings are sins, etc. Wild animals are fierce ghosts. Non-humans are hungry ghosts, etc. Venomous snakes are fierce snakes. Solitary places are terrifying places. Meat-eaters are yakshas, etc., who eat raw meat. Will return means that it should be made to return. As for the meaning of the observer and unhappiness, it is what is said, "Subhuti, furthermore, that Dharma-speaking bhikshu in the house of a friend," and so on. As for the meaning of gathering, it is what is said, "Subhuti, thus the evil demon," and so on. As for asking the reason for the demon's separation, it is the Blessed One, for what reason, and so on. To apply means in such a way is to strive to create obstacles by methods different from those previously mentioned. To strive diligently means to strive to distinguish the Mahayana.

In order to show, therefore, the Blessed One Buddha and so on spoke thus. In order to accomplish falsehood, the Blessed One, moreover, the evil one came in the guise of a monk and so on spoke thus. The so-called belonging to the Sutra Pitaka is because it is in accordance with other Sutra Pitakas. The so-called contained within the Sutra Pitaka is because various meanings appear in one's own Sutra Pitaka. The so-called small wisdom, weak wisdom, inferior wisdom, refers to not fully understanding the three natures such as observation in sequence. Because of practicing the Sutra Pitaka similar to the Buddha-mother, doubts arise, therefore causing them to have doubts. In order to show that point, therefore it was said "has arrived". In order to show the arising of joy that does not conform to reality, therefore it was said "Blessed One, moreover" and so on. The so-called manifesting the true limit means that it will surely cause him to rejoice in it, thereby attaining the Hearer's quiescence. Thus there are six faults. After slightly showing the form of the demon's activity, in order to compare the others, therefore it was said "Blessed One, thus the Prajnaparamita" and so on. In order to ascertain the previously spoken metaphor of the precious jewel having many enemies, therefore he requested, saying "Blessed One, it is indeed so". In order to eliminate the doubt of why there are many enemies, he greeted with "Why is that?", and then requested, saying "For example, for the sake of being difficult to obtain and precious". The so-called well-spoken means that he said "Blessed One, it is indeed so" and so on. Even if there are many obstacles, but relying on the power of the Tathagata, it can be obtained, that is, he said "Blessed One, for example, the fault of the demon" and so on. Regarding the power of the Tathagata, the doubt arises "What is the reason for complete observation?", he greeted with "Why is that?", and then said "In this, the evil one also" and so on. The explanation of the Prajnaparamita is the Abhisamaya.

From the appearance of the eye, it is called the Chapter on the Activities of Mara, the eleventh chapter. The great exertion of the Tathagatas, etc., is explained by means of examples, hence, it is said, "Thus, these, like." To abide in unpleasant touch means to abide in unpleasantness. "Unpleasant" means that which the mind does not desire to manifest. As before, why is it so? To welcome doubts, it is said, "These generate us," etc. Among them, some show closeness with food, etc., and are well held; others also hold and protect from thieves, etc., and by protecting, they are well hidden, and by hiding, they conceal; the body's dirt, etc., by wiping, they are well adorned, and by adorning, they repair. The exhausted are like those struck by hail, etc. "Ye 'droga" means all epidemic diseases. "Unwanted arising" means the arising of unpleasant things. The meaning shown by example is that Subhuti, thus the Tathagata, etc., said. "Tathagata" means holding to be dwelling in this world. Why is it so? Because afterwards, in the following text, it will be said, "In other worlds," etc. "Not becoming an obstacle" means not becoming an obstacle in the manner of the forty-six faults mentioned earlier. Thus, exerting greatly, it is combined with the former. Thus it is also said: "Faults are in four groups of ten, definitely six, should be known." Thus it is said. In order, by the gate of taking and abandoning virtues and faults, one should practice combining, and because knowing the commentary is the guide, under the faults, by holding the establishment of the nature of combination, knowledge is established. And by holding the establishment of the nature of difference and function, one should speak of the self-nature of the self. Thus it is also said: "By what is the nature exemplified? It should be known that it is also threefold: knowledge, difference, and function. What is the self that is exemplified?" Thus it is said. Among them, for the time being, the nature of knowing, the three aspects of omniscience.
