In order to summarize the knowledge of the path, the Bhagavan asked the great Bodhisattva questions such as, "What is such realization?" After saying this, through gradual and profound understanding and comprehension, Bodhisattvas, relying on the wisdom of non-attainment, comprehend that this is the Prajnaparamita of the knowledge of the path. Explanation of Prajnaparamita, in the Light of the Abhisamayalankara, Knowledge of the Path, Chapter Two is complete. Chapter Three, Explaining Omniscience. If one does not completely know all that is to be known, one cannot completely know the path. Therefore, in order to explain omniscience, one does not abide in samsara and nirvana. The sutra says, "This Prajnaparamita is," etc. The Prajnaparamita of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, because of realizing the equality of the three times' dharmas as unborn, is not the realm of the Shravakas, etc., and is therefore hidden. That which has the nature of a kalpa is not the shore of samsara, because wisdom sees its faults. It is also not the shore of nirvana, because compassion performs the benefit of others. It also does not abide in the middle between samsara and nirvana, because it is without substance. Because it is extremely pure. The so-called extreme purity is because wisdom and compassion are both truly realized, therefore it is free from attachment to both samsara and nirvana. As it is said: This shore, that shore, is not the edge, It does not abide in the middle of them, Knowing the equality of all times, Therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. Thus it is proclaimed. In the chapter on omniscience, it is explained in a reverse manner, because the Shravakas, etc., do not have the knowledge of the equality of the three times, therefore they are far from the true Prajnaparamita, relying only on their own realization, then the Prajnaparamita is separated from compassion and wisdom, only clinging to the real and unreal, so it can be known that it is limited to samsara or nirvana.

It should be known. Similarly, for the following (contents), it should also be known that some are explained through the way of following, some through the way of opposition, and some through both ways. Whatever is dependent arising, you consider it to be emptiness. In this way, understanding the equality of the three times is the very realization of the reality of things. Isn't that something that everyone possesses? If so, how can the Shravakas and others be far from the profound Prajnaparamita? World Honored One, they are also like that, etc., this is a request. The word "also" not only refers to other aspects such as things, but also because of clinging to the appearance of "not existing anywhere," so it is the word "also." Will be abandoned. Will be alienated. This refers to narrating in order at that time and in future times. Because of clinging to the characteristics, one becomes distant from the Victorious Mother. If there is doubt about this statement, wondering what the reason is, then welcome it with "Why is that?" and then proclaim "Subhuti, in terms of names," and so on. Among them, "Prajnaparamita," etc., are merely nominal designations. The reality of characteristics such as the completely imputed is the characteristic. The inverted place of clinging is attachment. Just like a snake conjured by a magician, although it appears as a thing, if one does not know its own nature, one will not see the absence of self-nature simply because of clinging to the thing. Similarly, if one clings to the characteristics because one does not possess skillful means such as virtuous friends, then due to attachment to the inverted characteristics, for the Shravakas and others who do not understand the nature of things, there is no complete knowledge of equality. Therefore, for them, the Victorious Mother becomes distant. Bodhisattvas and others who have eliminated the illusion of clinging to things completely understand phenomena such as form, which is to completely understand their equality. Therefore, it is implied through the power of meaning that for them, this Buddha Mother is very close, so it is said.

Is. The Blessed One spoke, saying, "Thus," and so on. "These attachments" and so on refer to names and the like. By saying "how much," it includes things like being extremely pure. "Well spoken" means that it is said in contrast to the teachings and realizations of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. "Well taught" means that it is the complete teaching of the Mahayana. "Extremely ultimate" means realizing the ultimate end of all qualities. "These themselves" refers to the distinction between Shravakas and Bodhisattvas. It is also said, "He is far away because of aiming at characteristics, not by means of skillful means; he is said to be truly near by those skilled in means." Thus, proving distance from the Mother, although it is the antidote to the Shravakas and so on, it is to be abandoned because of engaging in inverted actions by aiming at entities, therefore, to show that it is the uncommon aspect of Bodhisattvas, it is said, "Reverend Subhuti, what is attachment?" and so on. "Emptiness" means being free from the self that is completely imputed by the Tirthikas. "Thinking that it is" and so on should be connected with what will be explained below. In "generating the first mind" and so on, here, "generating the mind" refers to the Dharma of the aspects of Bodhi, such as giving. "Only this much" means offering with immeasurable and other numbers. Saying, "How is generating the mind attachment?" is "Noble Subhuti, by what means?" and so on. Because of engaging in inverted actions, it is said, "Kaushika, if" and so on. "This is the first mind of a Bodhisattva," in this way, with the manner of manifest clinging, when the Bodhisattva truly knows this mind, and likewise, with the manner of manifest clinging, "this first Bodhicitta should be dedicated," when dedicating, at that time, in this way, it is attachment, this is the meaning of the words. Why is it inverted in that way? He spoke, "Son of good family or daughter of good family" and so on. "Cannot dedicate" means the mind's
