Having welcomed with earth, he spoke of "also before" and so on. From "the retinue escaped from there," "with a mind of abandonment" is the remainder. "Accumulated" and so on, for the three stages of combination and so on, combine in order. Not being in harmony with the body means not being close to the body. Not being in harmony with the mind means the mind is distracted. Not knowing, not understanding, not comprehending means, in order, direct perception, inference, and scriptural authority. Therefore, one does not recognize it, and the others are the remainder. Abandonment is abandoning one's own nature. One will be slandered because of denying power. Speaking without thinking is speaking unpleasant words. Destroying means not generating roots of virtue. Burning means generating imprints of non-virtue. Small merit means having small generosity and so on. Small roots of virtue means having small love and so on. Turning back means making it so that one does not want to do it. Separating means causing one to abandon one's own nature. Causing to turn back means turning back from re-entering. From all those aspects, all aspects refer to the nature of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and so on. All aspects refer to the nature of the Tathagata Shakyamuni and so on. All kinds refer to the distinctions of the smallest of the small and so on. All times refer to the aspects of higher morality and so on. Being close means because it is generated. Completely aroused means because it is without destruction. In the great hells means in the twenty thousand yojanas below Jambudvipa, there is the great hell of Avici of that size. Above it are Tapana, Pratapana, Maharaurava, Raurava, Samghata, Kalasutra, and Samjiva, the eight great hells. The eon destroyed by fire means from the beings of hell up to the world of Brahma, even if sentient beings are in conflict, there is nothing left, at that time the vessel world is destroyed.

Seven suns appeared before me, gradually starting from the water mandala and burning all the way to the first dhyana. The so-called "in other worlds" refers to other three-thousand-great-thousand worlds. If there is doubt about what is the cause of experiencing many sufferings, it is greeted with "Why is that?" and it is said "Those are like that," etc., which is easy to understand. The five actions of immediate retribution are killing the mother, killing the father, killing an arhat, splitting the sangha, and drawing blood from the Tathagata with malicious intent. The result of these five actions is that immediately after doing them, one becomes the cause of being born in the great hell of uninterrupted suffering, so they are uninterrupted. Because there is no similarity between the three of result, cause, and nature, therefore, in order, even if it is only in image, in conformity, or in a similar way, there is no similarity. If one asks whether compassion arises for those who suffer, or why associate with them, etc., it is greeted with "Why is that?" and it is said "Shariputra, those people are," etc. For others, because they reveal their own faults, they are like rotten leaves. Like weeds that spoil grain, they spoil the seeds of bodhicitta, therefore they have a black nature. Like a black emanation, because there is much hatred, it increases blackness. The so-called "destroyed by improper means" is because one must completely avoid associating with those who commit such sins, just because they are objects of compassion, and sharing places, etc. This improper intimacy first declines and is destroyed by association, etc., therefore one should keep far away from slandering the holy Dharma, that is the meaning. If one asks what is meant by slandering the Dharma, it is said "Shariputra, which ones are," etc. The doubt of why not speak when there is a measure is greeted with "Why is that?" and it is said "The measure of the body of such a person is," etc., because hearing the measure of the body of the great hell, one will understand that the suffering is greater and feel great fear.
