This is a negative term indicating "it is not appropriate to say so." Because they are different, a doubt arises, wondering what connection there is between dedication and the Perfection of Wisdom. This question is met with "Why is that?" and then it is said, "Those selves are also extinguished," and so on. Because the mind and mental factors that serve as the basis for previous virtuous roots, etc., and their imprints, are in reality unborn. Therefore, the two phrases "the extinction of those things of my objects, and the extinction of those formations" are spoken. That itself, in the stages of preparation, main practice, and conclusion, has no object, so in order, quiescence is excellent, being free from an object. Or, because consciousness with characteristics, without characteristics, and with other characteristics cannot be apprehended, the number should be stated as it is. The thought is: Because the dharmas to be dedicated are in reality unborn, therefore the very path of wisdom that dedicates is transcendent, and therefore it is not appropriate to dedicate. Therefore, by superimposing with conceptual thought, relying on the power of the Perfection of Wisdom, because one has more faith in the dharmas as being like illusions, therefore, being skilled in the true means, one is able to dedicate in a reversed manner, this is the meaning. In order to show the non-conceptual dedication's mental engagement, "However, that person," and so on, are spoken. For the suchness, the reality that is devoid of the nature of things and non-things, etc., because one grasps at some nature such as emptiness, it becomes a sign, and repeatedly engaging the mind in discrimination, later, for the meaningless discrimination, clinging to what is not real as real, therefore understanding as it is, and becoming a ultimate understanding. Therefore, for the meaningless appearance of discrimination as an object, without grasping, one dedicates by fully awakening, that is the meaning of the words. Because there is actually no object, a doubt arises, wondering how such a dedication would not be approved. This question is met with "Why is that?" and then, the Buddha, the Bhagavan

It says, "Those who have passed away," and so on. It means that because some people completely liberate themselves from suffering through emptiness and other aspects, and take the unsurpassed Bodhi as a sign and make distinctions, their distinctions similarly cling to the appearance of phenomena, therefore clinging to the self-nature of fabricated meaning is incurable, which is its great clinging. Clinging is because it makes people feel happy, etc., so some people doubt that the complete dedication with this concept is not very meaningful. To dispel this doubt, it is greeted with "Why?" and it says, "That complete dedication is accompanied by poison," and so on. Because the true nature of the Dharma of manifest desire is the cause of mental confusion, it is accompanied by poison. Because it is the cause of all the sufferings in Samsara that are difficult to remove, it is accompanied by thorns. Even if it makes beginners feel happy, etc., but because it contradicts the valid measure, it is the remaining part. To clarify these, it says, "For example," and so on. Among them, because one fully understands the faults of poison, one is a wise person. Because one does not understand the self-nature of poison, one is a child. Even if one understands the self-nature of poison, one is not sure that it can cause death, so one's wisdom is shallow. Because it can generate happiness, it is the one who obtains happiness. Because it is ultimately the result of suffering, it will mature into suffering. Some people refer to those who have clinging concepts. The three words "wrongly grasped," etc., refer to the arising of wrong views in the stages of hearing, thinking, and meditation, respectively. "Not understanding the meaning of well-spoken words" means not understanding that the meaning of illusion is what can dispel all inverted thoughts. "Those who have not truly understood the true meaning" refers to those who lack the ability to be certain that the self-nature of things is like an illusion. Because it can make beginners feel happy, who would make a complete dedication to those who have this concept?
