诸佛薄伽梵是遍知一切过失者,具有睫毛如牛王之毫毛般齐整。诸佛薄伽梵是以善根之油使有情润泽而调伏之士,具有润泽之眉毛。诸佛薄伽梵具有殊胜广大且具意义之法,耳垂良好且耳垂长。诸佛薄伽梵是完全胜伏烦恼之流者,具有柔和之耳。诸佛薄伽梵是调伏有情而不失其意念者,具有不损减之耳根。诸佛薄伽梵是完全清净一切见相者,具有善妙成就之面轮。诸佛薄伽梵是极善调伏外道论敌者,具有广大之面轮。诸佛薄伽梵是极圆满清净之愿者,具有极广大之头。诸佛薄伽梵是遮止诸境之蜂者,具有如蜂般黝黑之头发。诸佛薄伽梵是已灭尽见道与修道所断随眠者,具有浓密之头发。诸佛薄伽梵是以柔和之心领悟教法之精髓者,具有柔顺之头发。诸佛薄伽梵是具有恒常不散乱之心者,具有不缠结之头发。诸佛薄伽梵是完全远离粗糙之语者,具有不粗涩之头发。诸佛薄伽梵是成办菩提分法如香花之众者,具有芬芳之头发。诸佛薄伽梵之手足以吉祥旋、吉祥纹、卍字符所庄严。 贤首,这些是如来、应供、正等觉佛的八十种随形好。 贤首,如是宣说、开示、正确开示如是之法相于他者,此称为出世间之法布施。 贤首,如是菩提心。

The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who know all faults, possessing eyelashes as even as the hairs of a bull king. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who tame beings by making them supple with the oil of virtuous roots, possessing supple eyebrows. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, possess the supreme, vast, and meaningful Dharma, with well-formed and long earlobes. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who have completely overcome the stream of afflictions, possessing gentle ears. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who tame beings without diminishing their thoughts, possessing unimpaired auditory faculties. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who have completely purified all aspects of views, possessing a well-accomplished facial countenance. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who thoroughly subdue external adversaries, possessing a broad facial countenance. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those whose noble aspirations are utterly fulfilled, possessing an exceedingly large head. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who avert the bees of objects, possessing hair as black as bees. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who have exhausted the latent tendencies to be abandoned by seeing and meditating, possessing thick hair. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who have comprehended the essence of the teachings with a gentle heart, possessing soft hair. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who possess a mind that is always undisturbed, possessing hair that is not tangled. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who are completely free from harsh speech, possessing hair that is not rough. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are those who accomplish the limbs of enlightenment like a gathering of fragrant flowers, possessing fragrant hair. The hands and feet of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are adorned with auspicious swirls, auspicious marks, and swastikas. Shariputra, these are the eighty minor marks of a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha. Shariputra, to explain, teach, and correctly explain such aspects of the Dharma to others is called the supramundane Dharma giving. Shariputra, thus is the Bodhicitta.

The brave great Bodhisattva gathers beings with material giving and Dharma giving. Subhuti, this is the wonderful and amazing Dharma of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Subhuti, how does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gather beings with sweet words? Subhuti, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings with the six perfections. That is, the perfection of giving, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. With these six perfections, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by speaking sweetly. Why? Because these six perfections include all virtuous Dharmas. Subhuti, therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by speaking sweetly. Subhuti, how does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gather beings by acting beneficially? Subhuti, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by acting beneficially with those six perfections. Why? Because these six perfections include all virtuous Dharmas. Subhuti, therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by acting beneficially. Subhuti, how does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gather beings by acting in accordance with them? Subhuti, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by acting in accordance with them with those six perfections. Why? Because these six perfections include all virtuous Dharmas. Subhuti, therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gathers beings by acting in accordance with them. Subhuti, this is also the wonderful and amazing Dharma of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. This is the instruction on applying the four objects of gathering.
