and abides therein. He cultivates and abides in the second dhyana, the third dhyana, and the fourth dhyana. He enters into the fourth dhyana and experiences various forms of magical power. He touches the sun and moon with his hand and controls his body up to the Brahma world. Endowed with such bodily diligence, he goes with that magical power to all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell, maintain themselves, and teach the Dharma in the immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable realms of the ten directions, and he serves those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with robes, alms, bedding, medicine for sickness, and many implements. Those robes, alms, bedding, medicine for sickness, and many implements will not be exhausted until he attains the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Even after attaining perfect and complete enlightenment, those robes, alms, bedding, medicine for sickness, and many implements will bring happiness to the world with gods, humans, and asuras. Even after complete nirvana, many offerings of relics will arise for the relics. By the very manifestation of magical power, he goes to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and listens to the Dharma, and what he has heard will never be wasted until he attains the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. He practices in the all-knowingness and also brings beings to maturity. He also completely holds the Buddha-field. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he perfects the Perfection of Diligence by being endowed with bodily diligence towards all dharmas that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifestation. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva think of the Dharma with the diligence of the mind, which is noble and without outflows?

If it belongs to and possesses the limbs of the path, does it perfect the perfection of diligence? Because it possesses the diligence of the mind, the actions of the body do not occur at an unwholesome time, the actions of speech do not occur at an unwholesome time, and the actions of mind do not occur at an unwholesome time.

There is no distinction in what is called "unmade." There is no distinction in the fruit of Stream-enterer. There is no distinction in the fruit of Once-returner and Non-returner, as well as Arhat, and Pratyekabuddha, and Bodhisattva, and unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. There is no distinction in what is called Stream-enterer, what is called Once-returner, what is called Non-returner, what is called Arhat, what is called Pratyekabuddha, what is called Bodhisattva, and what is called Buddha. Those sentient beings are distinguished by the path of seeing, these are distinguished by the thin ground, these are distinguished by being in accordance with the lower part, these are distinguished by being in accordance with the upper part, these are proclaimed by the Pratyekabuddha himself, these are proclaimed by knowing the aspects of the path itself, these are proclaimed by knowing all aspects themselves, there is no distinction. Why is that? Because it is like this, for them, those that are to be distinguished by what nature, their nature does not exist. Even if they manifest with such diligence arising from the mind, those sentient beings are also not perceived. The perfection of diligence is also completely fulfilled, that perfection of diligence is also not perceived. The Buddha's dharmas are also completely fulfilled, those Buddha's dharmas are also not perceived. The Buddha's field is also completely fulfilled, that Buddha's field is also not perceived. They, with such diligence of mind, completely uphold all virtuous dharmas, but they have no attachment to them. They, without attachment, benefit sentient beings, going from Buddha field to Buddha field, from world to world, benefiting sentient beings. When benefiting sentient beings, whatever kind of miraculous power and transformation they desire to emanate, they emanate with that miraculous power and transformation, either raining down flowers, or spreading fragrance, or uttering the roar of a dragon, or singing and dancing.
