Seventh, the chapter called "The Perfection of Learning, Which is Done by Means of Realizing in a Single Moment." Seventh, the chapter called "The Perfection of Learning, Which is Done by Means of Realizing in a Single Moment." Furthermore, Rabjor, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to completely perfect the practice of the Prajnaparamita, and who wishes to perfect the ultimate learning and the ultimate practice, from the moment of generating the first thought, should take it close and, with a mind endowed with all aspects of knowledge, train in inner emptiness in the manner of the nature of non-things. He should train in outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness, and up to the emptiness of the nature of non-things. He should train in the mindfulnesses. He should train in the right abandonments, the feet of miracles, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the path. He should train in the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine progressive abidings, the samadhi absorptions, and the doors of dharani. He should train in emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness samadhi, and in the manner of the nature of non-things, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate correct knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. He should train in the ten perfections. He should train in great compassion. When he trains in the mind of enlightenment in this way, all phenomena will be manifestly and completely awakened into the nature of non-things. If there is not even a particle of the activity of memory, then form, feeling, perception, formation, consciousness, or the sense bases, or the realms, or dependent arising, or the perfections, or all emptinesses, or the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, or the noble truths, or the meditations, or the immeasurables, or the formless absorptions.

That is nonexistent. Subhuti, thus a bodhisattva mahasattva has a gradual conduct of learning the self-nature of all phenomena as being without entity. There is a gradual training. There is a gradual path of entry. Therefore, mind, conduct, and training will enter into that. When this was said, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if all phenomena are indeed of the nature of non-entity, then form also does not exist. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness also do not exist. The sense bases and the elements and dependent arising also do not exist. The limbs of dependent arising also do not exist. The perfections and all emptinesses and the qualities of the aspects of enlightenment also do not exist.

Is there still none? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Do you think that all dharmas, in the nature of non-inherent existence, have something that can be targeted as existing or not existing? Subhuti replied: Blessed One, that is not so. All dharmas, in the nature of non-inherent existence, neither existing nor not existing can be targeted. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, then why do you think like that? If all dharmas are the nature of non-inherent existence, then form does not exist, nor do feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. The twelve sources, the eighteen elements, and dependent origination do not exist. The perfections, all emptinesses, and the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment do not exist. The noble truths, meditative stabilizations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the successive abidings of meditative stabilization, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, samadhi, dharani gates, the powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the unshared qualities of the Buddha do not exist. Even the wisdom of omniscience does not exist. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha do not exist. The path does not exist, nor does the result. Afflictions do not exist, nor does purification. Attainment does not exist, nor does realization. They would think that all dharmas do not exist. Subhuti replied: Blessed One, I have neither hesitation nor doubt about these dharmas. However, when the Blessed One has not appeared, monks of the Hearer Vehicle, or of the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, or of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, would say this: If all dharmas are the nature of non-inherent existence, then in all dharmas that are non-inherent, who would be completely afflicted or completely purified? Because they do not understand complete affliction and complete purification, their discipline will be reversed, their views will be reversed, their behavior will be reversed, their livelihood will be reversed, and those whose discipline is reversed
