What is it that applies to the fruit of entering the stream? Those that apply to the fruit of once-returning apply to the fruit of once-returning. Whatever applies to the fruit of non-returning applies to the fruit of non-returning. Whatever applies to the Arhat himself applies to the Arhat himself. Whatever applies to the Pratyekabuddha applies to the Pratyekabuddha. Whatever applies to the Bodhi applies to the Bodhi. Subhuti, this is the very knowledge of the aspect of the path of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Having trained in those, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva enters the minds of sentient beings. Having entered the minds of sentient beings, he teaches the Dharma in accordance with reality. And that Dharma taught by him will not be without fruit. What is the reason for that? It is because he is to know the faculties of beings very well. He also thoroughly knows the path and non-path of sentient beings, their dying and their birth. Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should thus practice the Perfection of Wisdom. In this Perfection of Wisdom, there is no Dharma that is not included in whatever aspect of Bodhi the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should train in, or the Hearer should train in, or the Solitary Buddha should train in. Question: Blessed One, if that is so, whatever Dharma is a part of Bodhi, and whatever Dharma is an obstacle to Bodhi, all those are neither contained nor not contained. There is no form, it is invisible, there is no obstruction. Like this, if there is one characteristic without characteristics, how can the Dharmas of the aspects of Bodhi accomplish Bodhi? Blessed One, it is neither contained nor not contained, there is no form, it is invisible, there is no obstruction, like this, one characteristic without characteristics, there is no accomplishment or destruction for any Dharma.
