and the aggregates. In order not to fixate on the basis of consciousness, as well as the aggregates, realms, sources, dependent origination, and the basis of the limbs of dependent origination. In order not to fixate on the basis of all liberations, samādhis, and dhāraṇī gates. In order not to fixate on the basis of all perfections, all emptinesses, and the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. In order not to fixate on the basis of immeasurables, meditations, formless absorptions, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. In order not to fixate on the basis of the noble truths, superknowledges, superknowledges, the ten powers, fearlessnesses, individual correct knowledges, and the unmixed Buddha-dharmas. In order not to fixate on the basis of all-knowingness, this dharma is without a basis, it is the nature of baselessness. Then, the sons of the gods who abide in desire and form said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the venerable Subhūti is born from the Blessed One. Why is that? Because the venerable Subhūti, whatever he teaches, all of that is based on and teaches from emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. Then, the venerable Subhūti said this to those sons of the gods who abide in desire and form: Sons of the gods, you who say, 'Blessed One, the venerable Subhūti is born from the Blessed One,' how is it that the venerable Subhūti is born from the Thus-Gone One? Just as the Thusness of the Thus-Gone One neither comes nor goes, so too the Thusness of the venerable Subhūti neither comes nor goes. Thus, the venerable Subhūti is born from the Thus-Gone One. The Thusness of the Thus-Gone One is the Thusness of all dharmas. The Thusness of all dharmas is the Thusness of the Thus-Gone One.
