Because there is no non-purification, the Dharma is taught, making it perfectly clear. Self-enlightenment has no birth, no cessation, no complete affliction, and no non-purification, therefore the Dharma is taught, making it perfectly clear. The fruit of stream-entry has no birth, no cessation, no complete affliction, and no non-purification, therefore the Dharma is taught, making it perfectly clear. Similarly, the fruit of once-returner and non-returner, and the Arhat himself have no birth, no cessation, no complete affliction, and no non-purification, therefore the Dharma is taught, making it perfectly clear. Subhuti, thus the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having attained the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, after becoming Buddha, guides sentient beings, this is guiding, this is guiding, this is guiding. Subhuti, how does the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having attained the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, after becoming Buddha, become the refuge of sentient beings? Subhuti, here the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having attained the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, after becoming Buddha, becomes the refuge of ignorant and helpless sentient beings, that is, he teaches sentient beings that form is of the nature of space. He teaches sentient beings that feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are of the nature of space. He teaches sentient beings that the aggregates, elements, sources, dependent origination, and the limbs of dependent origination are of the nature of space. Similarly, he teaches sentient beings about all perfections, all emptiness, all samadhis, all dharani gates, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the noble truths, and the liberations.

And the nine successive meditative stabilizations, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, supernormal knowledges, the ten powers, fearlessnesses, individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, teach the Dharma to sentient beings as that which is called the nature of space. All-knowingness itself, teach the Dharma to sentient beings as that which is called the nature of space. The emptiness of form is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. The emptiness of feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness is the nature of non-coming, and those are called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. Likewise, the emptiness of the aggregates, elements, sense sources, dependent arising, and branches of dependent arising is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. Likewise, the emptiness of all the perfections, all emptinesses, all liberations, samādhis, meditative stabilizations, and doors of mantra, is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. The emptiness of the close placements of mindfulness, the perfect abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, and the noble paths is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. The emptiness of the immeasurables, the meditations, and the formless meditative stabilizations is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. The emptiness of emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and supernormal knowledges is the nature of non-coming, and that is called neither coming nor going, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings.

The emptiness of the Buddha's unmixed dharmas is of the nature of non-coming, that is, teaching sentient beings the dharma of non-coming and non-going. The emptiness of all-knowingness is of the nature of non-coming, that is, teaching sentient beings the dharma of non-coming and non-going. Subhuti, thus, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, after manifestly awakening to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, becomes the refuge of sentient beings. Why is that? Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of emptiness, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in emptiness, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of signlessness, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in signlessness, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of wishlessness, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in wishlessness, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-manifestation, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in non-manifestation, coming or going is not perceived, which is the activity of spontaneous accomplishment. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-arising, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in non-arising, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-cessation, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in non-cessation, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-defilement and non-purification, and they do not deviate from that nature. Why is that? Subhuti, because in non-defilement and non-purification, coming or going is not perceived. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-arising and non-thingness.
